Hello all,
Time is drawing near and the excitement is growing. Plans are finalizing and visions of activities, both at HH and in the surrounding area, are in our minds. Appearances are that this is the largest gathering of Cherokee Eggs yet.
At this time there are 75 rigs that we know of.
Meet-n-Greet: Will be Thursday evening beginning after 6PM.
Please bring something sweet to share.
Name tags: Lynne will help us
create our own, Thursday night at the Meet-n-Greet in the Rec Center. If you already have your own, that is fine.
Show of homes: Of course this is strictly voluntary. If you will allow others to "tour" your camper, they may pick up an idea that they like for theirs. Or maybe it is really decorated nice and you would like others to see your creation. New models and Classics are always interesting. Sometimes the simplest thing you did can mean a lot to someone looking for a solution.
To "Show" your home, please get an
orange ribbon from me. Tie it to the front jack or other visible place at the front of your camper. This will signify its availability to be "Toured "at the scheduled time.
Ann and I are on site 919. If we aren't on site, there should be some precut
ribbons on the picnic table, held down by a rock or some other clever device!
Please take one and be sure they are secure when you leave, so they don't blow away.
They will also be available at the Meet-N-Greet.
Show of Homes Schedule: I've tried to schedule according to
geographic of the park. Study the map below and it will hopefully make sense. This will be on
Saturday.
10am until 12 noon: Sites 70-93 on the left (west) Creek. . Sites 94-108 on the front( south) creek. Sites 827-832 which are backed up to the lake and face the front creek.
Noon until 1pm: Lunch break
1pm until 3pm: The remainder of the 800s, all the 900s and those that are scattered.
Here is a map of the park. You can enlarge with a button at the top.

After 3pm is preparation for POT LUCK!
I was asked to not mention this, but I think it important.
As the old saying goes,
"We don't have dues, but we have expenses". Lynne and those dealing with various activities have spent their own money preparing for Cherokee 2014. (This does not include me.)
If each rig could Donate a $1 or so, it would be nice. Please keep that in mind. Of course like everything else, it is voluntary.
Thanks and see y'all there!
Kip
