I just got back home from the rally
. It looked like everyone had a nice time. I know I enjoyed hobnobbing with everyone, eating grilled food and ice cream (they must have postponed the ice cream social to Saturday just for me!), and seeing some eggs. Of course Herschel and Darlene's Snoozy/Shuttlecraft was there for all to see, and it sure felt comfortable and homey.
I snapped a few pictures of the gang at the big Saturday evening cookout, so here they are.
A big thank-you to Bess and Dennis (a/k/a "Steve") for letting me have some of their aluminum foil, without which my meal on the charcoal would not have happened. The 3 objects in the middle of the grill (last photo) are my tilapia fillets.
By the way, Herschel (BAMA) was telling us about a quiet little generator
he bought, manufactured right close to his place (Ft. Smith area), and it was a fair bit less than the Hondas. BAMA, I forgot the name of that thing, can you tell us? Does the company have a website?
