Cari and I are planning on arriving Tuesday night in the area and finding a ring somewhere on "Quartzville Drive" in the Yellowbottom Recreation Area I mentioned in a prior post. (There are really no limits to vehicles per ring, just what ever fits.)

It should be fairly easy to spot us with the VanApocalypse : )
We will most likely be heading back to the YBR area on Sunday or Monday night before heading back to the coast. Did I say it was one of favorite places to visit?

Thom

I think you might be disappointed. I visited that area last fall the fire rings have all been removed and a NO Camping sign is up. Let us all know if that's changed, please.

Will let you know. What we did discover a year ago is that all camping rings along the lower road near the lake and river's entry into lake had been removed. The boaters had pretty much destroyed the area/habitat. The upper road, as far as I know is still set aside for gold prospecting.

Just wanted to say we won't make it. WOW it sounded super, but we don't have the now entirely WHITE (once brown) amerigo in shape to tow yet. Windows still out, inner walls still out. So hope you all have a great time and hope we can meet with the Oregon group eventually.

BEST to all at the NOG!

Thought those that weren't able to attend would like to see a bit of the NOG from a dog's point of view in today's blog post.

I am HOME! Oh my stars was the Spring NOG fun

The weather was less than stellar, but we made due between the storms. Being able to use the Day Use Shelter for Friday Night dinner-on-a-stick/beer exchange and the Saturday night festivities made the event terrific. Thanks to Linn County Parks for their kindness and support of this event.
I'll be posting Spring NOG 2017 information the end of July. Lots of time to plan your budget, time off, so you can attend.

Those that are still on the road, continued safe travels.

Cari and I enjoyed the meet & greet with you all and enjoyed seeing the various tweaks and mods on your eggs.

Best wishes and happy travels.
