Well, I have done it now, sold my Escape 21 in preparation for my new Escape 5.1 TA which will not be available until September. My site #23 is available, you can contact me via p/m for info, but if I cancel my reservation someone else may grab it, so I'm not sure which way to go with this?

White Acres Campground - Bardstown, Kentucky

(Maybe this is one to check for the future. It has a large pavilion for supper.)

Hi All,

I had a meeting in Frankfort, KY yesterday about three hours from where I live. On the way back, I went past Exit 25 on Bluegrass Parkway. This is the exit where I always stop when going to Frankfort, Lexington, etc.

Wow, My Old Kentucky Home State Park is only 2 miles off the exit. Despite living in KY for the last 20.5 years, I have never been there. So, I stopped by to check it out. The campground was empty other than one large Class A that looked like it was there for an extended time.

Wow! Twenty-five camping units signed up! If you still want to come, check the park reservation site frequently to see if any of the other 14 non-rally group sites open up or if one of our members has to cancel. Only about 4 more months to go!

I was just checking the campground site to see if any spots had opened up for the rally and I noticed that you can sign up for email notifications alerting you to vacancies. If anyone is still looking to join this rally, it may be worth setting up the email notification. They will send out a notification once each day it seems.

We were just notified by the reservation service that site 14 has become available starting June 10. It is full service with a "steep" grade listed, but it was not on my list of sites to avoid due to grade.
