We have a Uhaul. Have you done any research on them, and are you aware of the scarcity of parts and the common problems they have. Unless you find one that has been redone, figure on lots of work and some expense. Have you joined the Uhaul Facebook group, lots of info there in the files section, including a list of problems.

Attention Jon: My wife Jane was on Reserve America and it looks like site 35 is NOT reserved for the dates that Ann indicated for you (reserved only the 24th). Site 55 is, so perhaps you typed the number wrong?

All: We're going to reserve site 40 for Sunday and Monday nights, the 25th and 26th.

/Mr Lynn

EDIT: Ann: Over on the Casita Club Forum, Jon says he's signed up for the 23rd and 24th at site 35. Did you get it wrong? Jon: Can you clarify?

Hello Jane and Lynn,
Glad that you will be joining us at he NORTHEAST GATHERING.
Yes you are correct that Jon"s dates do not match. He posted on the
escapeforum.org and on the casitaclub.com (this post was edited) but not
on the fiberglass rv.com and we do have a difference in the dates.
I think we both got confused but I'm sure it will be clarified. I will try to
contact him on the casitaclub.com.

Hi Ann, Thanks for the heads up on this unfortunately I have other plans ( I am going on a cruise from the 17th to 24th) and it would be awful tight to get ready for a camping trip right after.

TWO WEEKS TO GO

Hi All, Hope all are getting ready for our GATHERING. Maybe the weather will continue to be as great it has been all summer.
We now have 7 Eggs coming and Sunday being the only day all will be at the campground, it would be great to have a mid afternoon potluck. A Lupper, somewhere between Lunch and Supper.

There are several shelters in case it rains and if no one reserved one the attendant said there would be no charge for us to use it.

So bring a favorite dish, a salad or a dessert. Posting what we would like to bring will eliminate 7 desserts, but maybe that's not that terrible
I would love to share White Chicken Chili with corn bread.
Don't forget to bring a serving utensil.
- everyone should bring their oun chairs, plates, silverware, napkins and drinks.

I will post some ideas for things to do in the area, but my two fingers are getting tired of typing . Bye for now.

Howdy— We'll just be getting in Sunday afternoon. We'll bring a big bowl of fruit salad.

Ann, are you also updating the other forums?

Hi again all,
Our potluck menu is growing with most of the great food groups spoken for.
Thank you all.

I am having a devil of a time entering the list of things to do. This is a slow learning curve for me but I'll keep at it.

ONE MORE THING- Maybe a time can be figured out for the potluck considering those coming and going on Sunday. We would like to accommodate as many as we can.

Things to do; I've toured the Slater a couple times, it's a WW2 era ship, and the guided tour is always interesting. We frequently go to Golden Harvest, their cider donuts are good, as are the turnovers, other baked goods, jellies and maple syrup. Just down the road is a Hannaford grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, and McD. A little farther is a hardware store, great bagel shop, then Samascotts Garden market that has great home made ice cream. About an hour south is Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome that does air shows with WW1 vintage planes, and you can even take a ride in a biplane. Closer to the park is Okenny's, a nice little restaurant and ice cream place. Kenny has a little vintage car museum attached to the restaurant, and we occasionally attend his cruise-in's with our vintage teardrop and pickup.

Hi Mary and Bob,
Thanks for the additional info on "things to", sounds like you know the area well.

I see that you are coming on Sunday afternoon, what time do you think you will be there?
We will plan the best time for the Potluck Lupper when we know what times people will be there.

Thanks,
Ann

Hi Jane and Mr Lynn,

I see you are coming Sunday afternoon , would you know the approximate time?
It would help decide what time we should have the Potluck Lupper.

Thanks,
Ann
