Just made our reservation. Bill and Ann-Marie. Reserved a waterfront back in site. Arriving on Friday

Put the cover on the trailer on Wednesday. Today I booked reservations for next spring. Makes putting the cover on a bit less sad

GEEEEZ, I covered ours about 2 weeks ago and the bad weather has held off. I'm Jellous and now temps this week up into the 50's.....
Did go down and put in some new slides for curtains on side window. Now just the Door curtain and front but wife doesn't know where she can find the same material to match back and side windows.

Looking foward to all the new to the fiberglass campers and others to my first event.
I go to meet with one of the campground managers this week and hope to get more info, as to what they will be doing for us,
I will relay this all to you but again let's hope we get enough sites sold to get the big discounts.

Can you folks tell which site you get or just the type? Not familiar with how things work at a KOA.

Not really Bob, just a confirmation for a deluxe site on water, but the prices should drop once we hit a dozen or some other number. Just grab a ticket and wait awhile, glad you can make it.

Back In, 50/30 Amps, Full Hookups, Deluxe Patio Site
Waterfront Super Sites with deck overlooking Moore's Pond and equiped with brand-new Weber Gas Grills and a full patio set to enjoy your vacation. Free WiFi and trash pick-up.

Thanks Jim
Kind of hard knowing if we can make it in May, but we'll give it a shot.

No such luck as being on the water, must not be too much left. Got a back-in full hookup, asked for close to the water if such exists.

Bob & Jim I know a lot of people (including me) will just go to the end of the thread and not read the first thread so we tend to forget the details or in some cases the subject LOL.

One can go to one of the Chocorua Camping Village site on line and see a lay-out map of the campground. Just be awear that the mape is not to scale and think it is too large or too small. While working there, every morning I would walk the whole campground to turn off the street lights and I made the whole loop around the campground in 1 hr. but that was walking with a mission to do.
So now I will past the original thead here so people just looking at page 3 will read it and know the details:

Time to shake off those winter blahs and join the fun at our first rally in the beautiful Lakes and White Mt' areas of New Hampshire.
event will be at the :
Chocorua Camping Village - KOA
893 White Mountain Hwy
Chocorua NH 03817
Office 603-323-8536
Info at Info @ Chocorua Camping Village KOA / Greetings!

When May 11 - 14, 2017
Reserve early as site may fill up fast
Rate will depend on number of sites we reserve, so lets make this a good one:
If we get 20-30 reservations
A Deluxe waterfront site----------$49
Off water Prime site--------------$39

If we get 30-40 reservations
A Deluxe waterfront site----------$45
Off water Prime site--------------$35

If we get over 40 reservations
A Deluxe waterfront site----------$40
Off water Prime site--------------$30

This is almost a 50% savings so lets all join in and have a great time.

Events will be the standard Meet and Greet Friday during the day
On Friday night, pot luck supper
I will provide Chicken on the grill and you supply the salads and deserts and drinks (Soda only in the pavilion Area)
On Saturday will prehaps tour the White Mountain National Park or take in some shopping in Tax Free Shopping Meca of North Conway's famous Strip.
Along with all this you get:
Free hot showers
Store on site
Propane on site
Laundry on site
A full hook up site with limited WiFi
and a friendly staff that will go over and above to make you stay Great
They want us to make it a yearly event.
Please keep me posted on you plans and you can reach me
You Host..Gerry L.

Just to let you all know that there is only 16 sites left open for the Spring Fling Rally....
7 full hook up sites and 9 water and Elec. sites
as of noon 11-15-16
If you do call the campground to reserve a site, and no one answers, make sure you leave a message and, I was assured, that your call will be responded to within a day or 2.
We need to fill these sites with Spring Fling-ers to get our discounted prices.

Gerry,
When you say 16 sites are left, does that mean we have 24 who have registered since you mentioned 40 were reserved? Perhaps a list of attendees so far?

Jim, Unfortunately not what was said.
If we were to meet those plateau of sites reserved the number of 40 reservations would be the ultimate savings. These sites were not set aside for us so other reservations are always being taken from others.
I believe as of last Tuesday there were only 18 sites sold, to our group, and as stated all along reservations should be made now for next spring as this campground sells out fast.
They have over 85 sites and there are only 16 sites left to rent out.
I do believe there may be some primative sites with just electric that I did not get onto my list and I will call there tomorrow to verifie to give us a better chance of meeting our highest plateau for the biggest savings.

Great News, I just got off phone with campground and was told there are more then the 16 sites that are open....She had just given me a list of the most premium sites.
She assured me there are plenty of other sites available, a chance that we can reach our plateau of 40 sites reserved is still a reality, to get the big discount price

Add one Escape 17. I plan to be there for the entire rally, and friends in a Scamp will do the weekend. It should be the last trip for the Escape 17 before it goes up for sale (a 21 on order).
