Hi,

We are newbies actuvely shopping for our first trailer. Liz is making arrangements to deliver brooms to our friends studio outside of Nashville tomorrow and wondered if it would be possible to see some of the trailers at the rally and talk with you all.

If so, is there a person she could meet there who could introduce her to everyone? I would imagine she'll not be able to get up there until the afternoon.

Trailer tours will commence shortly and for several hours thereafter. It's pretty informal. There are a wide variety of rigs here from nearly new to vintage units from the 70s. Probably nearly 40 trailers in all. As they used to say on the price is right "Come on Down."

What a great rally. Weather was good until Sunday, BRUNCH and pot luck cooks out did their selves. Peggy & I are looking forward to "Roy's Fish Fry" in the Spring.

MONKEY BUTTER

5 medium-size perfectly ripe bananas (no brown spots)
20 oz. can of crushed pineapple, not drained.
1/4 cup coconut (I prefer ground coconut-but use whatever you have)
3 cups of white sugar
3 Tbsp lemon juice (use bottled for uniform acidity)
Peel and slice bananas, then add all ingredients to a heavy saucepan.

Bring to a boil, stirring often, and then reduce to a simmer. Cook until thick. As the mixture thickens, stir constantly until desired thickness is achieved.
When thick, spoon mixture immediately into hot sterilized jars, apply heated lids and rings, and process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes.

I.U. Football Team HOMECOMING Games in Bloomington, Indiana against Iowa is 13 October 2018!!!!! This would be a great event opportunity for HAWKEYE (Iowa) alumni and fans as well as Hoosier Fiberglass Owners.

The Oliver Winery is always a pleasure.

Visiting nearby Columbus, Indiana is also a very worthwhile side trip. The city is home to some very interesting and beautiful unique architectural buildings.


Just north of Indiana State Road 46 on at I-65 and U.S. 31 is a large outlet mall.


FYI. Indiana is building its new I-69 Interstate from Bloomington, Indiana to Indianapolis, Indiana. While the construction will be full force during the October Event, so do not attempt to use the State Route 37 North Corridor. I-65 to Indiana 46 to Corridor should be the preferred corridor. The I-69 Corridor from Evansville, Indiana to Bloomington is open and is lightly traveled. State Route 137 from Indianapolis to Brown County is a alternative very scenic winding route.
