We are not seeing any wind right now,
light rain. The path is projected to be a little south of the I-85 corridor (far from us). That would put it going just south of Charlotte, NC. Of course, that can surely change. Tomorrow should be the day that clarifies the path as this one is moving FAST (which is good!).
Sounds like the coast could get pounded again!
Seems like the challenge will be if you are coming from Florida, you will be crossing the path of the storm at some point. You are located below the path, we are above it. You might want to stay behind it (leave a little later). You also might want to take a western route and avoid SC.
Note I am not an expert on weather for sure!!
UPDATE early Thursday morning:
Through the night (Wed), lots of rain. Standing water in the typical spots. I would expect the creek on the backside of the campground to be high. The rain is expected to move on early this afternoon, to some GREAT weather this weekend.
