This has been a long winter already and we are really looking forward to this trip. It should be a great weekend so everyone make your reservations soon and try to make this one. It is a fun weekend in a beautiful area of the Smoky Mtns.

Tom:
Are the dates you list for the festival correct? All indications are that the festival is May 1. We live on the beautiful eastern shore of maryland and would love to connect with more eggs. Is there anything planned for the weekend that is egg specific besides swapping stories and info? 21 eggs is alot of eggs!

They have moved the festival to the next weekend but it is was not much of a festival anyway. We are leaving the Eggscursion on these dates. There is still a lot to do the weekend of the Eggcursion like.

The smell of hickory-smoked barbeque fills the air as folks roll up sleeves and dive in to sample their secret sauces on delectable ribs and wings from vendors from all over the Southeast on Thursday, April 23 at Gatlinburgʼs Ribfest & Wings. This festive street party features live entertainment, lots of fun and barbeque ribs and wings on the open grill just for your tasting.

Or

The 59th Annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage, Wednesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 26, is another great event, especially for hikers and nature lovers who love to see delicate wildflowers in bloom. Hosted by Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the University of Tennessee Botany Department and the Gatlinburg Garden Club, this seven-day program offers more than 150 different hiking tours of trails ranging from easy to strenuous, exhibitions, demonstrations, classroom lectures and delightful motor excursions into the wonderful season of spring in the Smokies.

Or

The Gatlinburg Mountainfest http://www.eventsgatlinburg.com/search.asp...e=4%2f25%2f2009

We're looking for a 16-17" egg, sleep four, no bath, heat and air, not too old. Is anyone bringing one to the meet that might be for sale?

Please contact Ben at bkadas AT bellsouth DOT net

Revised plans? What were the original plans? A Plan? What's that?

Carol and I look forward to seeing Y'all. (I have to practice that. It comes naturally for her. Her accent will be fully restored by the time we leave.)

Can't answer that for sure but would think that most people coming to a rally would not have thier egg's for sale.
