5th Annual Alberta Omelette is at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park September 13-16, 2012
Your email confirmation that you're coming is your "pre-register"...that's all we ask. Please do not register at the front gate.
When you come through the front gate of Miquelon Lake, there are two lanes, just take the right lane and then stay to the right and you will see signs directing you to the Group Sites 1 through 7. We are in Group Site #7, it's quite a drive down a gravel road within the camp grounds, and it is on the left hand side just before the road ends at the entrance to a private golf course.
You come and see us in the black & white
Boler with the black & white Toyota FJ Cruiser and pay for the weekend and find a spot in the group site. ((please bring cash, as you are paying me, not the campground...$30 per night))
We are all together in one large area for the weekend. ((there's probably room for 40 of us, so there's lots of room)) We have a really nice bathroom/shower facility that is wheelchair accessible ((the shower takes loonies and toonies)) and a covered meeting/eating/socializing area in case of icky weather.
We usually have a "show & shine" on Saturday after breakfast where people show off their trailers and then we have a pot luck dinner on the Saturday night ((don't forget something to contribute to dinner)) with a group campfire to follow.(( Please bring wood to contribute to the fire))
Some people bring musical instruments to play and sing around the campfire. Everyone is welcome to join in...
There are several geocaches in the area ((if you don't know what geocaching is, check out the link below)) and there are lots of walking/hiking paths throughout the Park.
Everyone always has a really good time...
We look forward to seeing you!!
