Alf, you got us thinking we might alter our route and do the Kentucky Bourbon thing as well. Might stop in Cleveland too, for the R&R Hall of Fame.

The tour of the Maker's Mark distillery is well worth the detour. I would pass on the Jim Beam tour. You don't get to see as much of the operation as you do at Maker's.

If I can get my rig put back together enough by April I may just have to head South from Indy and join up with the group.

Hi: Spanke...Thanks for the tours insights. I just hope I'm not leading anyone astray by suggesting a visit to Bardstown...Nelson County Kentucky and area!!! I'm partial to Heaven Hill...the older the better. I wonder if they do tours???

We should have a large group this year. Just heard from 3 couples from Kansas that are coming. We may have to get a bigger gift for the longest distance traveled this year. We have been averaging between 25-30 campers but looks like we will top that this year and it's still a long way off.

This area is a great place to spend a weeks vacation. So much to do its hard to fit it in a couple days. Plus some of the friendliest people you ever you will ever meet. :-)

Hi: TomP... We are reserved in A loop...but not on the river so my wife says. Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time. I also managed an extension on my vacation week so we don't have to leave till Sun.am!!!
Still looking at a slight diversion into Bourbon history... but I will try to bring some Canadian bottles of beer for sampling also...

Maybe we'll have to have an Eggscursion run out to the B'urban Factory.

Just spoke with the campground and as of this morning we have 34 campers registered. Looks like a great Eggscursion this year!

We'll be picking up our new Scamp 16 in the first week of April and hope to meet you folks there. We have made our reservation already.

A night or two at Camp Driveway should help us prep our gear for the trip. Of course, we will forget at least one important item and probably more.

We all do that-- join the club! One year it was the bed sheets, another year, something else.

I just switched my site from non river in #A to river site in #B, there are 8 available river sites in Section B (make that 7 now) she said it is real close to section#A and we really wanted a river site.
