CO | Aug 13-16, 2012: 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous

Great big DARN!!! Guess we're gonna have to skip Camp Hale. Daughter-in-law in Indianapolis had surgery today. Our son has to be in Florida next week for work and they have three kids who go back to school the following week. My wife wants to be there for that week. We'll still go to Colorado but too late to catch the rally. Next year, I guess. At least we have a rally here in Michigan to go to the weekend after Labor Day

When you come to Colorado look up some FGRV owners for an eyeball contact. There are quite a few on the front range and even some on the western slope. What area of CO will you be visiting?

We have friends in Mancos. May try to ride the Silverton again. We've vacationed in Colorado more than any other state. We'll probably be all over the place. Like the Dutch Charlie unit of Ridgeway state park. Grand Mesa, Rocky Mth n.p. and countless other areas. Looking for some photos good enough to put on the wall. For CO. the opportunities are just about limitless.

I found this info on Casita Travel Trailer forum, The 3rd Annual Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous will be at Camp Hale again, July 29th to Aug 1st, 2013. Hope that helps you plan for next year!

I have some photos from the 2nd Rocky Mountain Rendezvous on one of my trip pages. Unfortunately, I'll have to miss the rally in 2013, but hope to make it in 2014.
