2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous will be at Camp Hale, near Leadville Colorado, August 13th to the 16th , 2012. This is a Group Camp site with no hookups that only cost $86 dollars per night to reserve for up to 100 persons. Donations will be appreciated to cover this expense.

Early arrivals can be accommodated in the same campground for $10 per night beginning on August 9th.

You're not including any weekend days? That makes it tough on me, living in Denver. We're tapping into our available vacation before that, so weekends will be all we have as a family. But maybe I can come up for a day just to meet and greet?

As Thom suggested, even a day trip up is fun. Get to meet everyone and enjoy the day up there. I did last year and though it would have been nice to actually attend the rally for the length of it, I enjoyed my short visit...... Got to see some great glass and meet some terrific people and visit with old friends........

No. Reservations aren't needed. Thom has reserved the group camp area. As I understand it is limited to 100 people but don't think it's a hard number. That said, if you plan to come just post the info to this thread or send a PM (or just show up).

I'm glad to hear of the possibility of another EggCamper at the rally.

Retired people have all the fun. I probably can't make it due to it not being on a weekend. Why not do a saturday to tuesday event?

I have friends that live in Leadville, and am tentatively planning to be there, although because it is a long way in the future on a long trip, I can't be sure I'll be there at the time of the Rendezvous...

As Orlen said, no reservation needed. We are trying to compile a list of campers though.
