Gina,
Was that the time Rocky had chewed off all the meat up to the knees and then decided it was tasty enough to finish the rest?

Will they allow canoes on the lake?

Canoes, kayaks. rowboats, sailboats and submarines under 14 foot are fine.

They stock the lakes with trout, bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish and a few other beasts that I can't remember. swimming is allowed in the bigger lake.

The lakes aren't large, but big enough to have fun. We camped out and went sailing, rowing, kayaking and fishing this last weekend. Caught some fish and had some great winds.

Hi Thane,
Do you need a CAlifornia fishing license as this is private property???
If so, I'll have to go get a loan to get one
this will be our 1st rally so please excuse dumb questions!

A 16 foot canoe is fine, I imagine they just needed a limit and picked 14 feet. Some folks who live at the lake have 16 foot catamarans and no one has been arrested yet. Luckily we are a well behaved group, no one will complain if we stretch the boat rule a little bit.

No California fishing license is required, just a $5 per day for folks over 16 to pay for the fish.

I don't know how I missed this!

Eric and I would like to come if it's not to late to sign up. Sounds like fun and this is another "sounds like the price is right" trip.
