bright spot

Well here we are......finally

Our return trip to Minnesota was a trip from hell....with one bright spot. Lost the engine :o in our Ford Ranger pulling up a long grade eat of Payson, Az (mile marker 282 on the Mogollon rim). Happened Saturday afternoon on May 17th. We got back Friday evening June 6th. A story in itself.

Got towed back to the Ford dealer at Payson and needed a tow to a campground....the dealer called the "Payson Campground" in Payson and one of the camper/workers came in his private vehicle and towed us to the campground.

Out standing hospitality !!! a clean, convenient and friendly place to stay. :lol

It took two and half weeks of jumping through hoops to get the extended warranty company to replace the engine.

Happy to be back !! :wave

The new home made screen door was a godsend allowing the cat and us some ventilation (no air conditioning) and Donna has several plans for reorganinzing the interior of our Egg....but that comes later.

screen door

Please give us some information on the homemade screen door. It looks great. How did you make it?

Noel

Wow, Noel, sounds like you really had a time of it. But, like you said, you had a nice place to stay. That's great.

Glad you made it home safely!

Anita:

The idea came from several sites; two are listed below, the other I can't find at the moment as most of the info is on my computer back in Az. Because each trailer may be slightly differn't it's a good idea to make a template or pattern before cutting the wood. If I can find some pictures I will post them...or take some new ones.
A search on this site should also give you some ideas' ; use last years archives to start.
