Maggi,

We are two: Marian and Steve.

I'll bring some side dish and catsup/ketchup for Saturday. I'll see if Steve will bring some of his home-cured olives for Friday.

If anyone is interested, we're birdwatchers and could lead a local walk or maybe a trip to the ever-so-lovely Salton Sea if there's something really interesting that shows up. Steve monitors that so he'll be up-to-date.

I'm really looking forward to meeting y'all.

Marian

What a great group! Gene, I really want to see your mods! You're my mod idol!!
We'll bring our 10x10 overhead cover and Nancie is, at this very moment , contemplating our bringings! We'll also bring some firewood. Hopefully oak stumps.
We will have a (made by Jim Upton) slide out for under an SD's double bed for any one who can use it. It works great but we will only have a twin in the back now (or hopefully by the time we get there) Making another change....
We promise that we will have our Honda Gen fixed so it won't keep any one up(quartzsite)
Looking forward to seeing all soon! horsefolk

Yeah! We get to come. Neil & I will be there Saturday morning and staying until Monday, and Peanut too. We are in space #70. This is my first rally. So be on the lookout for the Strawberry egg.
How about I bring a pasta salad to dinner Saturday? Let me know if I need anything else.

See you soon.

I had just typed a long post about events, etc. etc. etc., and LOST IT! So will briefly recap...............

I need some volunteers to bring the following..... 4 bags of potato chips, paper plates for 50, plastic silver ware for 50.

I think the condiments are pretty well covered, but anyone that wishes to bring something to add, it would be fine.

So far:

Mike and Lori: potato salad
Laura Edwards: brownies
Hildners, fruit salad
Billings, macaroni salad
Gina, BEANS, BEANS AND MORE BEANS!
Joy, relish and pickles
Dicksons, Veggie tray and super dip (for Friday or Sat. eve?)
Laytons, slicd cheese and mustard
Mary Ellen, pasta salad and sliced onions
Jim and Esther, deviled edggs brownies
Linda and Neil, pasta salad

Did I miss anyone?

We are praying for nice weather! But if it is really really rainy and awful, we can pile into our house, and I mean PILE, but we can MAKE it work if necessary! It will be very very cozy!

There will be several sun shades available, a couple of tents, we could use some small portable tables, don't forget to bring your chairs.

Tentative schedule:

Fri., 5 til ? Welcome--wine and cheese and snacks and goodies get-to-gether. Fire side at the Rudy's space #2.

Sat: Hike around the lake...........10AM

Boce Ball tourney ............2PM (more info later)
Tables for Dominoes, cards, (b.s. sessions), etc. will be available for play all day
Big Honkin'Barbeque...........5PM Hamburger patties and Carol Uptons barbeque beef, and hamburger buns furnished..........YOU ALL GET TO FURNISH THE REST!

I am working on a special hike for Sunday, weather permitting. More info later...........

Sure are going to be a batch of great people attending, many old friends and aquaintances, and, we are looking forward to meeting many more.

I will have a signup sheet for helpers when you sign in at space 2 on arrival. You can do as little or as much as you like to help. If you want any info about Casino's, Palm Springs proper, a good local weekend street fair, or ? JUST ASK!
