Wish we could be there, it is a great park. I still have a rental property about two blocks away and used to run the reservoir when I lived in the house.

Thumbs up

Greg, Doesn't the rental property need the front door painted or the garage door fixed? You guys could come out and repair it and make your trip a tax write off...........

I don't even know the First name. Sorry about that. I just called both the actual Park Campground office and the Reservations Office. Neither could help me with any names.

I did go to the Internet Reservations Site and for just Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th, there is only ONE site left open in Pioneer Loop. It's site # 60.

Coyote Loop and Gold Rush Loop both still have quite a few sites left for those 2 days, at least. Either loop is good and right next to Pioneer.

SO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME....PLEASE CALL NOW AND GET RESERVED

If anyone else is coming, let us know so we can put you in the list at the top of this thread. Post it here or send me or Robin a PM.

Thanks,

Keith & Robin

Want a Tee-Shirt??

Guy, from Colorado Springs, has worked with the Casita Club Store over at www.casitaclub.com, to put a Tee-Shirt together for the upcoming Fall Gathering. As you can see, it will refer to a "Casita Gathering" but it in no way is meant to declare that this event is strictly for Casitas. We, Robin & I, put this gathering together to include ALL Fiberglass Trailers. The variety that is out there makes it a very much more interesting event. I'm really looking forward to seeing the "diversity"....yuk, I hate that word, but it works here.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, here is Guy's post from the Casita Club Site:
*********
Howdy Pardners,

The "Roundup" will be here before you know it! Thanks to Robin and Keith for getting the ball rolling on this one! I don't know why but I've been calling this the Colorado Casita Roundup - the Pioneer Loop is ROUND after all and it seemed fitting since we are in Colorado!

Here's something I thought might be fun and hope some of you will be interested. A "Colorado Casita Roundup" T-shirt is now available at the Casita Club Store, http://www.casitastore.com/.

The printing will be on the FRONT of the t-shirt (no pocket) and the cost will be $17.50 including the shipping. If you order your shirt by the 6th of September, they will be sent to me in a bulk shipment (at a considerable saving on shipping) and I will distribute them at the Roundup. (Roundup Site #61)

Shirts will still be available on the website after the Sept 6th order deadline but would become a regular order from the Casita Club Store, ie, shipped to your home, and subject to their regular shipping charges for individual orders. And you might not have it in time to wear at the Roundup!

Guy J.

Stand by, because Robin and I are working on possibly having a Ball Cap available too. I'll post it here as soon as I know the details.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. I just wish I knew who all was signed up, but I guess that will be a surprise too.

One other thing I learned this weekend. As of January 2011, Colorado State Parks will be offering a Senior Lifetime Pass for $150. So, if your pass in about to expire, as mine is, you should know about this.

Regards,

Keith</SPAN>

We are in #63

Hi everyone - just noticed you were looking for us.
We are Karl and Lynne Brandes and we are in site #63. We will be arriving Friday and departing Monday.

We live in Aurora, CO and have had a Casita since 2008. The last get together we attended was last year at Boyd Lake, CO.

We can't wait to see everyone.

Keith and Shirley -
We live about 1.5 miles from Rangeview High School, close to Mississippi and Chambers. In fact, we must have ridden our bikes fairly close to your house last weekend.
