Fall Get Together Colorado Style
Sept 17th thru the 19th

Finally a Colorado Get Together at Cherry Creek State Park

Come join us, not much is planned as of yet. But that is the beauty of it. Cherry Creek State Park has water sports, fishing, swimming, horse back riding, nature trails, bird watching etc. All within a few short minutes of Denver, so you can take in one of the bazillion Denver/Area attractions if you care too. Denver Mint, Rockies Game, Water World, Elitches, Museums, Gambling, etc.

Pot Luck 6 pm Saturday Night followed by camp fire chill-en.

Get together campsites in the, Pioneer Loop/Full hook ups or near by Cottonwood Grove Loop for those who prefer to dry camping.

That will work, something must have changed since I did it. BUt one just needs to navigate to CHERRY CREEK STATE PARK, then to PIONEER Loop with the desired dates and then all should be well. Thanks,

We have a few things to figure out but it looks like we might be able to make this one. We've got friends that live about five miles from this park so that would be great to see them too. I'll know in the next day or two if it's a go. Since you have to pay for a three minute shower, maybe I'll get our water working by then too! Did I read that correctly - pay for a shower?

Just reserved site 57 for Friday and Saturday. Whoohoo. Looking forward to it.

Hey Bryan, so glad you can make it. Yes, my son, you have to pay for a shower. I will tell you however, these are some of the nicest Bathrooms / Showers I've ever seen in a Campground and if you are quick you can probably get by for about $1.50. I don't know about you, but there are times when that would be sooooo welcome at twice the price.

Anyway, we're really looking forward to seeing everyone.

I haven't talked to Robin about this, yet, but I plan to bring a good supply of firewood since we live so close (about 20 minutes away). And, I'm sure my friend Doug Hooker will bring plenty too. So, don' t any of you mess with lugging firewood along. We'll take care of it. Of course, if you want to do so, that would be fine by me.

I hope we can get a list together soon Reservations and Site #'s. Donna D. come on down!
