Plumas Eureka State Park...Book your own space and join in the fun.
How to book:
Campgrounds and Camping Reservations - ReserveAmerica
elect a site near #36 then email me (kathy at chamblin dot org)with your names, type of FGRV, arrival and departure dates and what space you have booked.
Garth and I have been to the park and park staff recommends we try to book sites near site 36 which is adjacent to an open space. Sites are large and we can gather at or near our spot.
Bring board games, food for yourself, food to share (if you like). Garth has a
ladder-ball set up. We met with park staff last year before the park closed and they will bend over backwards to give us what we want: ranger talk, wildlife and fauna walks, hiking information, etc. As you can
see from the linked brochure, this park has a lot of history and old outbuildings from the era.
Services & Amenities:
Campground has a dump station, flush toilets, and showers.
All sites have fire rings and bear proof storage lockers (inside dimensions are approx. 44" wide,
21" high, and 30" deep) .
