Hello,
My wife Gail, and I Terry, would like to thank everyone for their kindness toward us as we made our visit from
Casita to Scamps to
EggCamper, to a
Burro and a
Trillium, and also a 28' Coachman. We were really impressed by all the campers, but the one we liked the best was the one that belonged to
Burro Bob, the 1980
Burro. What a quality camper and my wife said "Bob is sure the gentleman". Maybe that had a lot to do with us liking the Burro so much.
It was a nice awakening to discover just how helpful and kind everyone was to us. Just unbelievable. Just great beyond measure. We were deeply touched. We would be looking in one travel trailer and before we would leave someone would come over and invite us to take a look at their travel trailer. Lots of great advice that will be put to use in the near future.
To put this in perspective, Gail and I drove 9 hrs to from Albany, GA. to Townsend, Tn., just to get our first look at eggcampers. I have been studying on them for the past couple of months, getting information and quotes from the companies. We didn't know what to really expect. We left the campground feeling really good about buying a small travel trailer like the eggcampers and also with the desire to repeat some of the great fellowship.
As a side note, we discovered its a really small world. We had the pleasure to meet Terry & Pam Lewis. They once lived in Albany for a number of years, they knew several people we know really really well, and we fished the same waters. This is indeed a small world.
Hopefully we will be purchasing an
eggcamper in the very near future, and we do plan to be in Townsend in 2009.
Once again, please accept this note as a heartfelt thanks to all of you who were at the campground and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for the Sat. night supper and the great music. EggCampers.........a great family.
