Andrew,
Fred posted this on the bolerama forum back in March:
Update
Got word from the Park Super he has already taken some reservations for campsites. He is holding a block of sites for us to book. Call Longbeach Conservation Area directly 905-899-3462 for a booking. No online bookings for Bolerama. Same rates for us as last year. When calling mention Bolerama"The Meet". Remember you only need to call the park for a reserved serviced site. Drop us an email if you have made a reservation through the Park. We have a large group site, just email us if your on group site. Helps us to plan the BBQ. Longbeach Park is a great spot for Bolerama's. Everythings close by and a terrific lake view. The staff is thrilled to have us. It's great to get these types of trailers together in one spot and have a memorable camping experience. Summers coming!
From what I can tell, there are not too many sites left showing on the online reservations. The sites that the park is giving to the people that phone in are the bolerama reserved sites that are usually not able to be reserved. The park gives the bolerama people a discount because we bring a lot of people in (i.e. money) and are typically well behaved, not to mention that Fred is a good negotiator. Many come a day early and/or stay late to avoid traffic and make it a mini vacation.

Of course, Detroit/Michigan, is just like home. I'm old enough to remember a hassle free border !!!!! I have many happy memories of times spent in northern Michigan.

Yes, I live in Windsor. I'm new to rv'ing and have not taken my trailer anywhere. I was planning on going to Long Point, but have a chance to visit friends in Calgary, during the Stampede. I will not be back in time. Hopefully I will camp at Arrowhead Park, near Huntsville, in September.

Just booked site #159
Now, somebody please tell me, what should we bring other than what we normally take camping?
See you there!

I don't know what you normally bring. All I can think of is lawn chairs for the group BBQ.

The chairs we have but the part I'm not sure of is; what do we bring for the BBQ? I mean, does everybody bring their own food or do we pay for it or...? I've never been to such an even before so, things that may be obvious to many are not obvious to me.

I'm pretty sure the BBQ comes out of the fee's.
Details are here: Ontario Bolerama 2012
If I'm wrong, someone will correct me. It used to be pot luck - it was difficult to facilitate that for a large group and some people started getting worried about getting sick.

Reservation made and looking forward to my first Bolerama. At only 6 hours from home, I am looking forward to the drive across NYS and over the Border.
Anything I should bring/plan?

I've talked to the better half and I was corrected.
She may be wrong about the amount, but she recalls paying something like $5 per person to register and that includes your dinner at the BBQ. Plus the campfires etc.

To put things in financial perspective; Booking as a part of THE MEET one saves at least $10 a night and this is ONLY the diff. between the cheapest serviced site and the going rate. Most will stay for 2 if not 3 nights. That is (at least) $30 in the pocket and spending that on the helping the whole meet happen is no cost. Even spending more will be a small price to pay for the experience whether the burgers will be burned or not
I'm a newb to this sort of gathering but, I'm eager and I just wish that more newbs (= shy people) will join me and all of the the weathered trailerers. C'mon, we can't be the only ones who...

what to bring
For those new to rallies the following are a few suggestions: bring enough cold Canadian beer for the older more experienced, make sure there is comfortable shaded seating for us (reclining if possible). Listen intently to our advice and stories or make it look like you are interested. Offer assistance in setting up or taking down any regulars camping gear, but only if following the owners instructions even if you know they are wrong. Remember Fred and Donna are gods and should be treated as such, when in doubt just say over and over "we are not worthy" . All regular's jokes must be followed by much laughter even though you have heard it before, so have we, but we forget easily. Finally never forget Kite Flying and Curling are divine hobbies. Pace yourself it is a long weekend, rallying starts around ten and except for a 2 hour nap in the afternoon extends well into the we hours of the night at least ten o'clock. Most important bring a smile.

Ahhh Ed. I knew you'd have the correct list! Enjoy bolerama. Are you going to Quebec bolerama in September? If not, we hope to see you at EggFest next May. Yeahhhh it's a go for the US Memorial Day weekend. We just have to settle on the place now. Didn't you know I would do it?
Wish we could make Longbeach. Have a ball everyone.

Is anybody going to be interested in a small jalousie window in OK (needs cleaning) condition? Should I bring it in?
Book swap?
