PA | July 15-17, 2011: Mid-Atlantic/Pocono Egg Fest

I'm having an awesome time meeting everybody and oogling their trailers. I have seen some GORGEOUS interiors (OMG Mark Z's Boler).

With some luck my attention span will hold up to the rigors of eating around a potluck and I'll manage to take some photos to share later.

We're back note road again. Stopped at Bethlehem Brew Works for lunch. In case anyone was wondering, we filled up the gas tank and calculated 24.2 MPG. That's with the Scamp behind and both bikes on the roof of the car.

Was held this past weekend, 7/15-7/17 at the KOA Delaware Gap in the Pennsylvania Poconos Mts. The weather was perfect and the KOA was clean and the sites were nice and shaded. We had close to 2 dozen eggs in various condition from hard to soft boiled with some fried in between. There were 4 generations of FG units from 70's to brand new traveling from Illinois to West,New Hampshire to the North, Connecticut to the East and South Carolina to the South.
Good food, good people, good times.

My dad and I had a great time meeting so many of you and taking in all the eggcitment of the rally. We are looking forward to viewing some pictures and seeing you again next year.

Jim, Congrats on a first gathering in the Poconos Mts. , a great time was had by all. I think we are all looking forward to next years gathering as well. I'm going to post some pics and info about the Snoozy tomorrow when I have some more time. Loved the roast pork done in the cob cooker. Thanks again for a really nice time. Tim

What a variety of campers! I wish we could have been there; I had a conference I had to be at. Kevin could not get away either, since he just started a new job.

Maybe next year. I recommend the KOA in the Brandywine valley if you change locations. We were there at the end of June. Beautiful place, lots to do, and lots to see.
