My son and his wife in His Casita and us in Our Scamp plan to attend. Are they grouping the rigs for this rally, i.e. should request a specific area?

Hi Norm and Ginny

I called KOA and talked to Mr. King who is looking after reservations for the meet in PEI and yes we are all gathering in section C. Electricity and water services expecting at least 40 or more for the event. I booked for the 21 of July so we can set up early. Their number or online information can be found on the website: Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA | Camping in Prince Edward Island | KOA Campgrounds

We will be happy to meet you. I am bringing the"snail" - my 74 Aer-Flo 13R.

Alison,
We've made our Ginny and I have reservations as well as my son and his wife, Mike and Tammy. We told KOA to put us together with the rest of the group. We have a '91 Scamp 16 and they have a '95 Casita 16.

Great we will see you there. We are leaving Cape Breton at 6am and take our time enjoying Tim Hortons on the way. The ferry will probably be busy also so we don't want to rush.

The last count was 32 registrations. Quite a few are checking in on Thursday. We will be there on Thursday as well......site 128.

Anyone who is thinking about coming and haven't reserved yet should do so quickly as few sites remaining.

It's going to be a good old time!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess my wife and I fall into the "better late than never" catagory as we only got a site reserved last night - all we could get was an unserviced site the guy said was close to the other trailers in the group. Looking at the site plan I think that puts us right by the water which is OK with me!

Here's a little video I put together of the meet, taken during the Saturday show and shine. My cadet is the last trailer in the video - down by the water where we had a "million dollar" view.

2011 Maritime Vintage Fiberglass trailer campout

Here's a link to a bunch of pictures taken at this years annual event.
Approximately 40 trailers showed up! Many from outside of the Maritimes. Some from Western Canada, and some from Eastern USA. Next year's get together will be in New Brunswick.
