This is a great idea, Fred! Count on Herself and I dragging the Pearl north one more time for this one. Niagara & the wine country are perfect fore a summer escape.

I watch the Bolerama Forum from time to time and there's a new message re the Trailerhood this summer
What Fred said:.....
* * * * *
Jan 30, 2011

I got some information from Longbeach Conservation Park in regards to reserving private sites for this years Ontario Bolerama "trailerhood"

NOTICE TO THE DATES

As for reserving Private sites, you can have them call our Chippawa Creek # [905] 386-6387 after March 2/11 toMay 13/11. As of Monday May 16th, we'll have staff in the office at Longbeach [905] 899-3462. It is veryimportant that they mention that they are with the BolerGroup, so we can get them the discounted rate. Any idea of how many will want a private site and electricalneedsthey'll require [15 amps or unserviced]?

If you're on private site or group site drop me an email if you're planning to attend. Nice to know how many to expect. It is a lovely park with a great group site and ample private sites too.

Regards Fred

Yo Alf
I just gave a repeat of Fred's info on the Bolerama site. 'Till you make your call to make arrangements, this is as "Current" as it gets. And I promise not to shake your "Bush".

I booked with Fred, although I don't know how important it is to book for the group site. It'll be great! Really looking forward to it.

if you are going to be in the group site you do not have to book early, just send Fred an email that you are coming and will be in the group site. Someone else can chime in on the hydro sites availability and booking. We are looking forward to the trip, need a break after this winter and spring. I think I will either bale the grass or get a goat, it will be a long time before I can consider mowing it.

We are doing some final checks on the Pearl and getting her ready for our Northern Adventure. We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer. I am also looking forward to exploring some of the area wineries.

We will spending the weekend in the group site and then moving to a full service site for a few extra days.

See youall soon.

the clan is gathering

Hello Doug and Kathy, glad to hear you are coming, Marje and I are also looking forward to catching up with everyone. Does anyone know where the group area is on the sight map? Doug, I hear Des has been stocking up on beaver tails all winter. Yum Time to get the egg out and cleaned up. We are going to make a dutch oven dish for the potluck. Marje and I will be in the group area all weekend, look for the solar panel,and follow the cord to the egg, hope we are not the only Casita. "Be there or be square", eggs round, stickies square.
