June 10-12, 2011: Taidnapum (WA State) Get-Together
OK Folks. The decision has been made...
It's Taidnapum again this year. Dates will be the 2nd weekend of June.
I guess it's time to start booking again...

Hi Gail,
All you have to do is go to the Taidnapam Park website and make a reservation, then you can post your camping site and name on this link if you like so we know who is coming. The dates of this NOG are June 10th- 12th, 2011.

Not a "NOG" (Northern Oregon Group) but maybe a "WOG" (Washington Oregon Group)?

In my language book NOG is for "nothing/ not organized gathering", not indicative of the location- just what is happening.

It's a bit difficult finding the link at the WA State Parks site, so I posted the direct link to the Taidnapam map above.
Those of you who qualify (+62 y/o) be sure to check your senior status for a good discount. Mine represented about $15 discount on a 3-night stay.

Hi Greg,
Just FYI, our Langley friends, Tucker & Kathryn Stevens, have reserved site 284, next to Simon and me. They don't yet have a cramper, but are hoping to get one. They'll be participating to get the feel of our cramping culture, as they are about to retire in 2011.

I'm so glad you decided on the second week in June, as I want to go up to Canada for the Escape meet on June 5th. NOW it's not a conflict!!!
