Sandy and I are not about to attend this Rock Creek campground gathering!

Do you realize the number of dead marines Gibbs has found in Rock Creek Park, just in the last TV season?

Mike

This relates to the NCIS TV show in case some aren't fans.

Hi Lee,

Their website says "Pets must be restrained." What kind of dog(s) do you have? We have 2 pugs.

Vickie

We have hairy medium size Heinz 57 dogs. They are brother and sister from the same litter.

LOL "Hairy" is the operate word, isn't it???? Mine are shedding like crazy! That's one reason I decided to make "slip" covers for the camper cushions, so I could just take em off and wash them!

We worked all Memorial Weekend, and think we have the a/c install like we want it. So the dogs should be able to come.

I hear you there... we're not sure what to do about a/c, we had hoped to get some idea's. If it's too hot, the dogs will probably stay at home( Great idea with the slip covers, we just ordered new cushions and had them apholstered recently... as much as we try the dog hair is hard to hold off.

We to are trying to figure out the a/c problem..Haven`t figured where to put one-not wanting to cut any openings in the fiberglass.
We don`t have a dog anymore but would worry about them in the heat also. If there is plenty of shade at your site-that will help.
Getting ready to put our new canvas top on. Had a new one made-hope it fits. We had a lady in our hometown sew it for us. After seeing how she made it-I think I can make one next time-if needed. We used an idea someone on this site gave us-we used a clear shower curtain liner for the windows and put velcro on them. The shower curtain will make a dozen windows. We didn`t have her make that many but saved the rest of the curtain.
See ya all the 11th.

Pretty much "finished" decorating the camper, and washed and waxed it yesterday. Think we're about ready for this weekend. (Of course, I'm sure we'll forget plenty and have too much of unnecessary stuff!)

BTW, what it the weather supposed to be like in Perry (or near proximity). I'm guessing rain (optimist that I am!!!) There's chances of rain here in Omaha all weekend (about 3 hours north of Perry.) Of course, that changes daily! The best way to know for sure is send the dogs outside---if they come back wet---it's raining!!

See ya soon!

Vickie, hmmmmm Kansas in the Summer? Hot and Humid? Just a guess! LOL................ Have a great time!

Only 3 hours? That's great, I wanna come so bad but the 9/10 hour drive after Rod's test isn't a reality. 3 hours I would have been there. Dang!

Checked the weather report today-hot on Fri. and Sat.---thunderstorms possible Sun.
Have gotten our a/c installed-so we are good to go!
Getting last minute touches done on our Compact Jr. Condo.
Not sure what kind of activities to plan -we are bringing our `hillbilly golf ball game`.
Any other ideas?

Darn, Robin, I wish you were a little closer!! Guess we'll have to get to Colorado!

Mrs. C---when were we going to have the group meal??? Our family lives not too far from where we'll be camping, so my husband wants to go visit them alittle bit. Is there a set schedule?

No set schedule-group dinner Fri. eve-visit, look at pictures. We will probably hang around the campsite but others can set their own schedule-go and explore the area. Would like to take a group picture sometime.
Haven`t done much scheduling-don`t really know what to do-thought ideas from others would be helpful.
At a Navy reunion we were at in May-people did their own thing all day and the evenings we all gathered to eat and visit. That worked out good but at Rock Creek there is no schedule.
