Just back from a 4-day camping trip to Mount Laguna. The oak trees were just exploding with new leaves! Spent some of the time putting in a new floor & making various repairs/modifications. Will post a few pix soon.
I am confirmed for space #14, from Thurs., 10/29 - Sun., 11/1. It will be just me, myself and I.
Looking forward to meeting all at Lake Casitas!
Katie

I just got confirmation that we have #35 -- we'll arrive Friday evening and leave by noon Sunday.
Name tag info:
Dana Trout
Sue Rudnicki
I notice that the names are all caps in the name tag list. When you make the tags could you please make them not all caps? I find all caps to be harder to read than mixed case.
Thanks!

I still have name tags that we used from last year. I could practice being green and use the same ones. You don't need to print my tags.

Now I'm worried -- sites 35 and 37 are not on the road. Does that mean they are only for tents?
I'm signed up for #35, but if I can't put my 13' trailer there I'm going to have to change my reservation.
Would someone who is familiar with the campground please tell me if #35 is OK for my trailer? I don't need any hookups.
Thanks!

Hi Dana
I'm not familiar with site 35 or 37 but the best thing to do is to phone Lake Casitas and ask if a trailer will fit. I know those sites are basic sites on the point (Sites 25-37). (No hookups).. Here is the BASS campground camp site map. http://www.lakecasitas.info/camping/bass.html
I just looked back to our other rallies and no one that I can see ever stayed in sites 31-37 with a trailer... I'm pretty sure sites 25-30 will take a trailer. Here's the phone number - a quick call will help you. 805-649-1122

I called the Lake Casitas reservation line this morning and the woman confirmed that site 35, even though it is not right against the road, is suitable for a trailer. No hookups, but we don't need them.
So we're still in #35.
See you there!

My wife and I would like to attend the rally this year. According to Lake Casitas reservations the following sites are still available.
1-5, 8, 10-13, 15-19, 21, 23, 24, 58-61
Since we have never been to this campground before I was hoping someone could recommend a site.

Steve,
Of those I would skip 8, 60 and 61, any along the water side are probably ok. 21 ,23, 24 are real close to the bathroom (and dumpster) which could be a good thing or bad thing depending on you view point.

Looking at the map each grouping has advantages. You may like being in the loop sections 58-61. Sites 1-5 may have a little traffic due to arrivals, but a good space stretch out, and nearest walk to the showers. 21, 23, 24 is close to the flush toilet (if needed), and has a central roadway artery to walk and visit others. 10-13 is also somewhat central, you can walk across the grassy area in the middle for a shortcut to the loop areas, or use the road. The group activites (movies, potluck, wine tasting, ice cream) are nearer the loop. If you choose 8, you have the whole grassy area to spread out. You may be happy with any of the sites you choose.

Hi Steve
If you like a pull through, space 8 would be good. Space 17 is a back-in and actually a good spot.. Both 8 and 17 will be next to the big grass area. Space 1 is the first as you enter - pretty big and near the childrens play area. You won't have any one on one side, but that is the area where traffic comes through ... Space 58 is good and Jim and Carolyn are in 57... (61 and sometimes 60 are usually used for the campground hosts).
Be sure to ask about hookups.. there are sites without hookups..
I hope this helps. We're looking forward to seeing you there.
Carol and Jim
