Carol & Jim,

Shirley and I have decided to take a trip to the North West this October and are going to attend the NOG on Oct 9-11. We plan to then head South and if dates work out, perhaps we can stop by the Lake Casitas Rally for a visit. We'll see what happens. It would be nice to see everyone there, too.

BTW, I'm going to be doing some serious Mod's on the Liberty before the trip and hope to get even more ideas on my thread I started last night.

Later,

K & S

That's great Keith. We'd love to have you come by - better still, to spend a night or more. It's been too long since we were last together. We are now expecting 38 trailers to be at the rally and tons of nice, fun people.

Keep the Lake Casitas phone number handy in case you have time to join us.
(805) 649 1122
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:00pm. Ask for BASS campground.

Say hi to Shirley for us.

Anyone know if any or what spaces are open or left? We will be coming back from a long trip (5500miles NY) and would like to make it to this mini-rally.

Hi Pat and Arleen

A couple of weeks ago I phoned and they had about 8 spaces left. Since then, we have had 3 that joined. I'm guessing that there are a few left.

The best thing to do is call them .. ask exactly what spaces are left and snag one.. We want you to join us and the spaces are almost gone.

To make this easy for you:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:00pm. Ask for BASS campground.

Hi, We are newbies and would really like to attend the Lake Casitas event. I tried to make reservations on line yesterday, and today got a message that the reservation was refused. A phone call today revealed that the entire B campground is booked, so I reserved a spot in E. Is there a way that I can find out if there are any cancellations within this group so that I could move over to B?? The man on the phone said that I would just have to call each day! Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi Martha

I'm really happy that you went ahead and reserved a space in E. We will start a waiting list and put your name on it... If a space comes up, we'll let you know.

However, if it were me - I would try calling again ... once a day would be great but at least once a week - there will be cancellations and hopefully none of our fiberglass gang. We have 39 trailers (spaces) reserved at Lake Casitas and I was told there was one more still available .. but it looks like it is filled, I hope it wasn't taken by someone outside our group.

Watch for my email.
Carol

I'd love to make a comment about shooting stars at 2:30 AM but I won't.

The devil made me post this.

Hi Carol;
Please put us on the waiting list. I'll keep on calling hoping for cancellations but if someone from the group has to cancel we can reimburse them for the reservation and take their spot.

Hi Anne

We'll put you on the waiting list but you might want to reserve a space in E... the only thing would be you would have to pay to change spaces. Not a big deal...

We hope you will still come even if you can't get into BASS.. I'm hoping there will be cancellations but not the fiberglass group.

How many nights would you be staying and which nights?

Here are the nights: Oct 29, 30, 31 and Nov 1

Carol
