Welcome to the rally

Nothing special for you to do.. It's a relaxed rally .. not too much planned but enough to keep everyone "happy" We hope.. If you want to help at the rally, we can always put you to work somewhere - never a long job and never hard. Friday night will be where you will meet the rally group.. I will post later what space we will all meet in.

Congratulations on your 13' egg... egg people are a great group... we are happy you are joining us for your first rally. Jim and I will be in space 50 in BASS. Please come over - we will have a name tag for you.

We are newbies to Fiberglass RV, and are reserved in space B-30 for the Casitas Rally in our "brand new" Compact Jr.
Debby, Tim with cats Sam & Baxter make up our troupe. We have totally rebuilt out trailer, and have named it "Tupper", after the storage container it resembles.
We are excited about seeing all the other plastic classics and modern RV's, and look forward to meeting lots of new folks.
Tim is known to be a player of "Bad Bridge", which is similar to the card came played by millions but a bit more relaxed and sociable.

Martha and Wolf (sorry so slow to post) will be in B5. Arrive 10/27, leave 11/1. We will be there with our Little Joe. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Lake Casitas rally .. Oct 28 to Nov 1.
(A few will be there on Oct 27 and some will check out on Nov 2).

We have 41 trailers signed up ... and 12 weeks to go...
Campgrounds: BASS 36 Trailers and EGRET 5 Trailers. we're looking forward to seeing you all there.

Do you have an idea and would like to lead a round table discussion? .. This is a great opportunity for Questions and Answers.. Last year this session was a hit.

Would you be willing to lead a walk around the campgrounds .. down to the lake - up to EGRET campground?

Do you have a camp site large enough for our campfire evenings, and allow the campfire on your site?

Friday night will be meeting around the campfire for dinner (If we have a site for the campfire). No need to stop for dinner Friday on the way to the rally. Bring your Weiners and rolls and your plates, drinks etc. and anything you will share. Salad, chips, pickles, dessert, etc.

We will need volunteers, Saturday, to get tables from campsites and return them on Sunday before everyone leaves

Saturday morning we will have Open Trailers...

Ice Cream Social will be on Saturday.. We will need ice cream, toppings, cutup fruit in bowls like strawberries, bananas, pineapple, etc. Cookies, cupcakes are always welcome. Root beer or orange soda for ice cream sodas might be an idea. We will need tablecloths taped to the tables... Jim and I will bring bowls, napkins, spoons, and cups...

It's Halloween ... Halloween pet parade will be in the afternoon. Dress your pet, and yourself (if you want).. we will parade through the campground.

Please let me know what you will bring to the ice cream social .. Email, private message or post... We especially need to know that there will be ice cream. Volunteers will be needed to scoop ice cream, etc.

Wine Tasting... Bonnie and RoseMarie will be in charge .. Bonnie will be in space 44... Bring all bottles of wine to Bonnie by Noon on Saturday. Wine Tasting will be in the afternoon.

Hi Elvin and Sally (and all attendees)

Mike and Lori, who always puts on the workshop, will not be coming to the rally this year.. They will be traveling on the east coast. We don't have anyone else that will take charge, so as of now, we will not have the Dutch Oven Workshop.

I have been trying to come up with an other idea ... but we will have the walk through trailers Saturday morning, a round table discussion, the ice cream social early afternoon, the Wine Tasting after that..., sale, trade and giveaway tables too.. and always time to sit and chat... There will be a Halloween pet parade (adults can dress up too) with a parade around the campground.

There will be plenty of things to do. Do you have any ideas?

Sorry about not having the Dutch Oven Workshop.

If anyone at the rally would like some sourdough starter let me know I can bring a batch and proof it at the rally. You will have to provide the glass jar for transport.
