We were thinking about the 101 too....I checked and there is no info on the DOT website but I-5 has high wind advisories recommending "TRAVEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CAMPERS, TRAILERS OR PERMIT LOADS IN THE AREAS
WITH A HIGH WIND ADVISORY POSTED."

I will check again in the morning before we leave.

Hi, Mike & Lori, and all - Gosh, reading about all your preparations for Lake San Antonio is really making us regret we are unable to join in the fun this year. We know it will be a terrific weekend and we look forward to posts and pics of all the fun. Safe journeys - L 'n D
We are truely going to miss you.

Hey, drop everything for a couple of days and we’ll squeeze you in. Come-on...

If someone sees this before they leave for Lake San Antonio, please tell Lori and Mike that we had to get a repair done to the Casita and will be on our way as soon as it is done and the floor is reasonably dry. Thought all was taken care of, but a connection from the water tank flooded the interior.

There is internet at the Lake so Mike can get the message himself or we can give it to him when he gets here. We have three bar broadband right now inside our trailer.

Dave and Leslie we second the suggestion to come. We miss you too.

Stuff on the counter, the floor, stacked behind the trailer. Now to get it all in place. We're leaving after Steve (Mr. gets off work. Will stop for dinner on our way up, and plan to be in camp around 8, so we'll meet most of you in the morning! WOO HOO! (Thanks again, Mike & Lori, for getting us all organized!)

We made it home, unpacked, finally clean.

Thank you, Mike and Lori, for a very relaxing Mother's Day Weekend! (And some fine lessons on how to host such a fabulous getaway!)

I usually have trouble going through Santa Barbara on a normal Sunday. Traffic there usually just crawls.

Today I took the 46 East to the 5 South. Not as windy on the Grapevine as it was Thursday Night. Left Lake San Antonio at 9:00 AM and arrived at my office, where I store the trailer in San Diego at 4:30 PM. Cruise control set at 55 mph all the way.

Here are some photos of our weekend. I particularly like the evening shot of the Casita with the hot-air-balloon lights.

We would like to second the hospitality, and all the great trailers there. We saw some neat mods there, wait till next time we will have some our own! We have broken in our first rally!!! We made it home in good time as well and went through Santa Barbra with no trouble.

We had a great time and made some new freinds!

THANKS AGAIN TO MIKE AND LORI

Thanks, Lori and Mike, for another terrific rally. We loved the setting of Lake San Antonio, especially having the Harris loop reserved for all our "shrunk down trailers" as my son referred to it last year. The food was outstanding at the potluck. Dutch oven meals can not be beat. We glady collected many more ideas of modifications for the trailer thanks to all the friendly sharing.

Thank you Mike and Lori for the fantastic rally.

Weather couldn't have been better. Your hard work, organization, movies and super dutch oven meals were great. Minestrone soup, sour dough rolls, pizza, and breakfast.. YUM..

As usual we really enjoyed getting together with everyone .. and we hope to see you at our Lake Casitas rally Oct 29-Nov 2.

Nice pictures!

Eric, he who is in charge of taking picture, took not one photo the entire weekend! So unless someone has has more that is the only proof of the Bigfoot's first outing.
