I will not be able to go due to one of my dogs being due to have puppies that weekend. She is looking pregnant and due anytime between the 21 to the 28. I don't feel I should travel that far with Daisy so close to delivering the puppies.
I am bummed about not being able to attend! Wish I was going, but $$ coming in from a litter of puppies just in time for Christmas was just to tempting to pass up.
I do want to let someone here wanting a really nice site to get it. I think I picked one of the largest and nicest sites, with no campers behind me.
I picked my site last yr, and will keep it for next yr, but can not go this yr.
So, if not having a site yet, or wanting a better site, tell them you want mine. I just called in and cancelled via the message recording.
I will miss seeing you all, and hope everyone has a great time. Hope to see you all next yr!
Thanks Karalyn - we'll see who gets there first with the request. Best of luck to you and your puppies.

With only a week before the Lanesboro gathering, has anybody heard how the bugs are? I know they are thick in northeast Iowa where my folks live, so I assume there will be a good crop of flying, biting beasties around the river. I'll bring our spray!

See you all in a week! Let's hope for good weather!

usally SE Mn is fairly bug free because there is very little standing water.
The rain runs off fairly quickly into the streams and rivers.

Thanks Jim. For my wife, one mosquito is too many. I'll probably have to wrap her in netting! Glad to hear from you. Any idea how many units are signed up?

When I call after the floods they had 20 plus fille of the 29 reserved. Reading post since then it sounds like they also filled and we have campers in the next row?

I guess I will wait and see, how ever many we have it has been a good time.
And I am thankfull for every one that shows up

Hi Jim,

Sadly, we won't be able to make the campout this year. We are in the middle of a pretty large house remodel and our kids are quite busy with sports and other activites.

We have actually only camped once this summer, we're kind of bummed about that...

We'll have to catch you some other time. Have fun!

Jeremy

Lanesboro was fun as usual. We got home about 6:30 tonight. Wish we could have stayed another day.

Here's a picture of a stop on the way home. We stopped to look at the view in East Dubuque at the Julian Dubuque bridge.

Hello all! We had a great time at our first ever Egg Rally

Thanks to all who kindly gave us tips and showed us your fabulous rigs...and who were so kind to our kids!!

Kirk just checked the calendar, and he has drill over next year's rally, but the kids and I will plan to attend anyway.

Hope you all had safe trips home, and perhaps we'll cross paths before Sept. 08.
