We leave the Dallas area around 1 PM on Sunday. We will be heading east toward South Carolina on I-20. Driving a white Ford Super Crew (4-door) and pulling a 17' SD. We have the tire cover with our Casita number (1058) on it.

If you are an amateur radio operator I will be monitoring 146.52 and some local repeaters. Will be working some 40 meter mobile also.

Don't how far we will get each day. Planning on 5 or 6 hours on Sunday. We are so loaded with our daughter's stuff that the Casita is more like an U-Haul. Might be using motels on the way out or learn how to move her stuff about. :-)

Destination is Conway, SC.

Hope we pass someone on the way.

Hmmm. We'll be headed west about that time, coming from Ruston, La. back to Shreveport/Bossier City. If you see a red Porsche 911 zipping along, I'll probably have my 2m on .52 simplex if I'm not on one of the Shreveport machines @ the time (no, not pulling the trailer)...Have a safe trip, you might want to take the I-220/Hwy 3132 loop around Shreveport/Bossier to avoid all the "bottleneck" of construction. It is the exit following "Pines road"... You'll pass over beautiful Cross Lake (2miles from our house), and get back on I-20 just east of Bossier City @ the Louisiana Downs racetrack. (It's much less hassle than coming through town *and quicker* unless you're wanting to stop @ one of the casinos. Have a safe trip!

Sorry we missed you on your trip through. I kept yelling on .52 from about 3-4 while we were on the stretch from RSN-SHV, but did not hear you. Saw a few stick-builts going the other way, but I guess we did not cross paths. Best of luck to you on your trip, catch you next time. 73 es cul de KB5EFG
