Lori and I want to thank you all for a wonderful trip.
The food was so good. Now I got to get back on my diet (Did I Eat Today ;) )
Did every one get home OK?

Yes, we made the whopping 1/2 hour tow home without incident.
I must say, you and Lori sure know how to make a couple of Newbies feel welcome. This goes for you too Carol & Jim, Nancy & Ollie, Elizibeth & Jim, Patty & Richard (did you enjoy that IPA?), Frank & Shelia, Laura & Lou, Ron (and George), Glen & Rita, Ted & Pricilla (thanks for the curtain idea), Wes & Maggie, and Taoward & Robin. My apologies to those not mentioned above. Shelly says I have a mind like a steel sieve and I'm afraid when it comes to names, she's 100% correct.
Anyway, the food, fun, and fellowship were all outstanding. We ordered a lid for our Dutch Oven and I plan on ''practicing'' a lot.
If it weren't for that horrible four letter word, WORK, we'd be able to get out there this summer and perhaps see you on the road. As it is though, it won't be till Lake Casitas in October that we get the opportunity to join you all again.

Lopez Lake Mini-Rally
We made it home in one piece and Tao managed to get the trailer into the driveway, miraculously without Laura and Lori's help!
We had a great time and enjoyed meeting everybody...looking forward to the next rally!

Patti and I got back home late Tuesday afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour and all the great food, as well as meeting up with old friends and making new friends. I'll sort through my photos over the next couple days and choose a few to resize and post to the forum. You and Lori did a great job, thank you.

When I packed the truck for Lopez Lake, I packed more than enough "sweat beer" but only enough GOOD ale to last through Sunday. Staying the extra day left me short a couple bottles of good ale. I did enjoy, thanks a bunch.

Gosh, I expected lots of pix and thanks! I'll try to post pix tomorrow, but wanted to say a big thanks to Michael and Lori for their truly expert organizing. I've never seen anything as coordinated and effortless as this trip. You put so much work into making us all feel welcome. It was a huge effort and we all appreciate it. More tomorrow!

Awsome Weekend at Lopez
Jim and I also want to thank Michael and Lori for a really fantastic time at Lopez Lake. Michael had arranged reservations for about 35 of us for dinner Friday night at a beach restaurant.. but no sunset because of cloud cover.
We really enjoyed the Dutch Oven lessons and of course the enjoyment of eating everything that was cooked. Lori is a wiz when it comes to cooking in these DO's. 16 ovens going at once and everything was done at the same time for everyone to enjoy.
We would post photos but I'm having problems with my zoom browser for my Canon - it won't come up so that I can download my photos. Oh the joys of computers..... Any ideas? :conf
Thanks for a fantastic, fun and busy weekend.
