Probably be carrot sticks, celery, fish and chicken for a few of us anyway. THEN.................... Lories cinnamon rolls! But just 1/4th of one for a select few of us, eh Michael?

:wave :wave :wave

I reserved 18 spaces for the Lopez Lake weekend. I received a couple more reservations yesterday which brings us up to 16 RVs coming. I was surprised to see a reservation yesterday from Florida. WOW! That is a long trip.

We have 2 spaces left. To make your reservation and hold your space, please send in your $25 to me.

Jim and Elisabeth, I will pencel you in. Please send in your deposit to confirm your spot.

Jim Woodward, I'll watch for your deposit.

We have 16 confirmed (checks arrived) deposits. I made 18 reservations originally. So with these two "checks in the mail" requests, we are out of spots. If you would still like to come please let me know and I'll see if I can get some more spots, but hurry. Lopez Lake is a great spot and we all want to be as close together as possible.

I hope this helps.

Time To Relax

Michael - you should be on the cover of a Camping Magazine - you make us want to go somewhere beautiful, relax and enjoy the good life. Isn't it great to be at such peace in this world.

My new life

It's been a long time since I've been online. We at least sent in our reservation for Lopez Lake, but it took a long time to get our lives together. My mother is probably entering an assisted living facility, and I'm changing jobs to more intense rather than less. Figure it out! In any event, we have signed up for some bike rides, and missed the deadline for the SLO Wildflower ride, so fortunately will be attending Lopez Lake! I would rather do Dutch Oven cooking and play around the campsite than ride my bike at this point, so we will see. I miss you all and look forward to a real weekend!

:wave That’s it, we have every site spoken for.

Bonnie and Toward have just made their deposit for their Trillium. That makes 18 trailers.

Lake Lopez

You should be hearing from a Jim Buote, Mike. I just sent you an e-mail about him. He wants to get in on the fun times we are having. Heard about the desert warm up through the grapevine and just called me.

Are the extra three sites still available? I am sure they want to reserve one.

Lopez Lake

Hi Michael

I paid a visit to the casitaclub.com forum this morning and noticed the Lopez Lake rally isn't entered on the calendar of events. Lopez Lake is still an upcoming event, yes...?

Time to start bringing this up to the top and get all of the details out. Thanks Lou for getting this going.

I just got back from a great weekend campout. Our trailers are not slowed by rain.

Lou, I got the plastic wedges for you and will bring them to you to Lopez. Anyone else need some?

have been looking for that map of quail and can't find it. no one has answered re: nitt witt. thought it was Barbara and Charlie who said they wanted to go.
we will probably go the day before if no one else does, and stay at san simeon park the 23'd.

See ya soon

Shirley (as in Bob, Rocko, George and the Wandering Eggloo) were out for coffee this morning discussing the date of this trip. Fortunately I had it on my calendar correctly! Really looking forward to seeing everyone again!

GREAT! I'm starting to ramp up with all the final planning. All of the spaces are filled and I will be emailing everyone their space number.

Who wants to go to “Shore Cliffs” for dinner Friday night like we did last year? Sunset overlooking the Blue Pacific. Pricy but good. I need to make reservations.

Wine tasting tour Friday after noon. Who wants to go? We have a new one this year, Saucelito Canyon. Very old vineyard with many award winning wines.

More info to come...

Food

Just what we have to think about food. Just got back from 10 days on a cruise to Tahiti and you know how we feel. FAT !!! When Lopez Lake comes around we will be ready to eat again. Count us in for the restaurant and wine tasting if we are doing that again. Can not wait till the campout.

I went to all of the wineries today to confirm our tour. We are adding a couple of new wineries this year.

Also, I went to Shore Cliff restaurant and talked with the head chef. He is a really nice guy and is giving us a special price because of our group size. We will be meeting there for dinner at 6 PM. The sunset is about 6:30 PM. We have our choice of three entrees: Grilled Chicken Picata, Snapper Veracruz or Teriyaki Top Sirloin.

I need to get a count of everyone going and who wants what. Please post here or email me. Thanks.
