Norma and I have been thinking about next spring and early summer camping.
We just made a reservation at Maryhill State Park, WA for May 21-23, 2010 (weekend before Memorial Day).
We booked site 37 & there are lots of sites open (5 or 6 on the river). Anyone care to join us?

We are double checking as to when WSU will have their May graduation. If that date doesn't conflict we will be joining you there.

Oooo, I am a bit jealous. Mailie and I have been meaning to plan a return trip to Maryhill after taking our boys there many years ago. Sadly, we won't be able to make this one. For all who attend, may I suggest going to the museum at the Sam Hill mansion, also to the life size replica of Stonehenge, and, if time permits, the Goldendale observatory, the largest telescope open to the public. It's run by the State Park folks. Have a good time.

Hi all,

We have been meaning to visit this area for a while. Seems like we're always driving past. So, we decided what better time than when fellow 'fiberglass folks' are there ! We'll be in site 32 Thursday - Sun.

Well, it looks like we'll be able to join you after all. Had to cancel our trip to the Washington gathering because of a scheduling conflict so here we are. We'll be in site 26 from Thursday to Sunday.

Hi, is all "go" for this campout? My buddy Karen Langlois with her dog Chase and 1980's Burro & me & dog Joey and 1972 Compact Jr. are considering going. Karen's to look into reservations. Any advice?

Hi Cory,
We will definitely be there on Friday

It looks like some folks will be there earlier...this "Gathering" should give new meaning to Donna's claim of "Not Organized", but lets get together Friday night at our site (or which ever one seems best suited).
As Wayne D mentioned earlier, there seems to be some cool things to do in the area & maybe we can get together for a pot luck Saturday.
Scamps in the driveway getting de-winterized....

Everyone have fun at Silver Falls this weekend!

Hey Cory, looks like there are about 10 sites left available for that weekend, all on the inside of the loop. The loop there is pretty big in the middle and all grassy, very nice for doggies. As far as advice, I would say pick one and book it!

Hello ~ We are new to this website and camping with other "eggs". We just reserved space 13 at Maryhill, but we like walking/biking so your campsites won't be too far for us. We have had our 13' Scamp (1989) for 2 years and are loving the "egg"perience of camping in it! So cozy, but we always park close to restroom facilities! LOL Looking forward to meeting you all. Hey Bill, good to see that you and Jacquie are coming, looking forward to spending a little more time with you all, there never seems to be enough at the larger gatherings.

What a great group. We'd be there in a moment if time and $$$ allowed, but we'll certainly be there in spirit.
cheers

Hey folks - we ran into Rich S yesterday and he told us about a great music fest in Goldendale Fiddlin Under the Stars. It's a bluegrass music, wine and arts festival, $5 admission - looks like fun and right up the road from Maryhill! Fiddlin
See you Thursday.

Dave & Kathie

Ian & Vicki, sorry you won't be there but after hearing the ferry fees we totally understand! Look forward to seeing you at Taidnapum!
