Space 14 is still open and now it's your's Dot (and Larry)

The Park is NOT taking reservations for this event. I'm keeping track of all the chosen spots as a matter of convenience. It's always nice to know when you pull into a park where you're supposed to go. BUT, we're going to need to be flexible. The park may be pretty smooshie and we might have to double up on some sites if other sites are too wet. You don't want to end up to the hubs in mud. I have a large site with full hookups but will only use the electricity...if someone wants to share my site...

I forgot to ask if #14 was smooshy and if it had electricity. We'd like: NOT smooshy and WITH electiricty, if possible.

I'd suggest everyone bring shoes they don't mind getting wet and muddy...a week of fairly dry weather MAY not be enough.

About services at the sites: spaces 1-15 have water, sewer and electricity; spaces 22-30 and 32 have water and electricity.

OK, I must be having a braincramp, 'cause I can't find the H-A on any map of mine. It seems that at one time I found an enlarged version of the campground map with roads marked on it, but now I can't. Help!

Food Plans
(Shhhhh! Don't tell Donna we're making plans. )

Here's what I'm bringing:

Friday Night Potluck
Main dish in Dutch Oven (will serve ~10)

Saturday Night Potluck
Main dish in Dutch Oven (will serve ~10)

Sunday Morning Breakfast
10 dozen eggs (Linda C & Jim W are bringing 5 doz of these)
2 bags diced potatoes/onions/peppers
3 bags tortillas

Could five or six others bring pre-cooked sausage links (~60-80 total?) and 3 pkg grated cheese?

Christi V:

Well Duh! I should have thought of that, you know. Thanks very much!

Nancy:

I would like to bring some sausages, but don't know exactly what to get: pre-cooked in a package (brand? "Little Smokies" or something similar?). Can you tell I don't cook that much? I could also bring goat cheese, pickled herring. Naw, just kidding.

We figured we'd bring 30+ sausages (about half of what's asked for)

We'll have a crockpot of beans and ham for Saturday night.

Friday night we'll in late. I expect it'll be after 8:00 pm by the time we can get there.

see ya all then

I don't think Little Smokies are the right thing (but am not sure). If you go to the grocery section that has sausages in the cooler, there will be many brands of breakfast sausage. Some are maple flavored, some are plain, etc. There are usually about 12-15 in a box. Just look for fully-cooked breakfast sausage links - any flavor. Thanks!

Gosh I go away for a couple of days and look what happens...menu planning

I'm not going to partake Friday night of the potluck...I want to ROAST a hot dog! But Saturday I'm bringing Hot Artichoke/Cheese Dip and bread as an appetizer.

Breakfast on Sunday, I'll drink COFFEE! I just don't DO breakfast

Hi Everyone...I'm all for hot dogs over the campfire for Friday night too, I'll bring some baked beans for Friday night as well though. I'm so ready for this first camping of the season...I'll be leaving about 9-ish Friday hoping to be up there by noon.

Somehow, I lost a chair last October, but after all the drinking....it didn't matter, I haven't needed it. But, if I loose my last one, I might wish I'd borrowed some of Donna's rope.

I'll be bringing some sausage too, and eggs. It would be nice if we could use Nancy's grill again...that was just perfect...and pancakes too.

Looking forward to seeing you all Friday . Chari

I'm planning carmel pecan brownies for Friday (come one, come all - come early, come late - just enjoy!), a quinoa salad for Saturday, and have an idea (still contemplating) for Sunday, but will supply a large pot of coffee for all (found that 36 cupper to use for a water heater - and it still makes coffee

We won't be camping but would like to stop by Friday night or Saturday afternoon to meet everyone and maybe even peek into some of your eggs for ideas.

Absolutely drop by. By Saturday afternoon the weather should be fabulous, all the trailers coming will be in the park. You'll find us easily. We'll be the group with the big SMILES on our faces!
