Jane SC,
Glad to see a U-Haul attending. The first I heard of a FG RV was a U-Haul. I was looking for a camper & a friend saw it on Craig's list. Only listed 4 days and already gone. That started my search for fiberglass. Never did get to see a U-Haul. Foundmy Scamp and love it. Looking foreward to seeing yours.

My Husband and I would be interested in attending. This would be our first rally. We should be picking up our Liberty 17 in Sept. We would love to see all the Mods people have made to their eggs!

Hi Julie,

Your are getting your trailer at a good time as it is kind of the "start" up season for fall camping.

Are y'all fairly close to Cherokee?

"The Loose Caboose"

My wife and I would love to attend; just need a confirmed date! We just spent 4 days at the KOA with our twin grandson's, rained every day but we still had a great time. Is the Happy Holiday located on RT 19 toward Maggie Valley?

Happy holiday is about 3 miles EAST of the Casino on Hyway 19.

Just made my reservation, arriving Oct. 11, depart Oct. 14. Got site D90. That is on the creek on the back side (not street side). Will get 10% discount with Good Sam or AARP. I look forward to seeing friends there, some colorful foliage and having a nice time!

Here ya go! http://www.happyholidayrv.com/
Per a phone call to the campground, all sites have water, sewer, electricity, cable TV, and WiFi. EXCEPT the orange ones.

Once you have brought up the campsite, you scan down, and see a place (on the left side) to bring up the site map. At the top of the site map is a (+) sign to enlarge the map, to better view the site numbers..

Two sites are already reserved by Jean and Jane. Looks to be D90 and D89. They are Orange and on the left side of the site map.Across from them are Maroon full hookup sites.

Suggest that everyone get in their reservarions as early as possible so we can be close together.

Unclear at this time if the clubhouse will be reserved for us and our possible Pot Luck Saturday night gathering. Or if we get a Rally Rate.

You can do the booking online through their website but I didn't see in that process where I could reserve a specific site so I did my reservation via a phone call. The campground offers 10% off for AARP, Good Sam and some others and that is what a rally gets I think.

Smile Cherokee

Just called and made reservations for 10/11 thru 10/14 and got site 91 just next to Jean.
We wanted to be close to the creek due to the good fishing!

Cindy, let me know if you need some help.

Thumbs up Reservation made

Just made our reservations for 10/11-10/14...Site 922
Ann has to have the cable TV.

While talking with the reservation lady, I learned that the Orange sites are in the trees with plenty of afternoon shade.

I'm thinking there is also a creek of some type behind them.

The dump station for the Orange sites is at the comfort station.

I told her I was with the Fiberglass RV group and she said, Oh...You mean the "Eggs"? Also that if us "EGG" folks sign up for 10 sites, we will get a 20% discount. She has a folder started with our names.

Also please post it here, so we can keep a tally.

So when ya'll make the reservations, be sure to tell them you are with the Fiberglass RV Rally or the EGG rally.

I'm going to notify the Casita RV forum, and the Scampers forum that we actually have a rally started.

Thanks,
Kip

Thanks, Kip, for securing the info for the rally rate. It looks like we have 5 trailers already. Do I need to call them back and make sure we are on the list? I know you don't have all of our last names. Lynne and David

Might not hurt to give them a call. Just to confirm you are with the Egg Rally.

I just got my comfirmation e-mail from them. Everything looked fine except they did not mention the camp site I reserved.

Hope they have me down for #922.
