This rally will be in the Quad-Cities area of IL. Oct 19-22, 2011 Wed - Sat. The host is Courtland Pieper and his lovely wife Darlene of Port Byron, IL.

Fisherman's Corner
Hampton, IL 61256

Get a site near the Host Site #26.

Schedule of Events

Wed - Meet & Greet, Hot Dogs, bring side dish.
Thr - Tour John Deere HQ and the John Deere Commons.
Fri - Boat Ride and lunch.
Sat - Tech Session, Tour of Lock & Dam 15, Clock Tower and Rock Island Arsenal. Potluck at evening campfire.

There will be a campfire each night at Site 26.

Bring your bikes. There is over 70 miles of bike path along the river. The area also includes museums, casinos and wildlife.

Courtland does not own a computer and says he never will. He has asked that anyone planning on attending please notify him by mail at: Courtland Pieper 212 N. High St Port Byron, IL 61275.

It is a go. May have a change or two but sure all will work out. I was told by the ranger 8 sites were booked as of 9-21.

I'm looking forward to my last trip of the season. Cindy may not be able to come due to work commitments, but I don't mind being the "single guy" for a weekend. I'll be there for two nights (Friday to Sunday).

We are booked, will arrive very early Saturday morning. We are in # 50. Hope we can join everyone for the events on Saturday and stay awake. Does anyone know whether they close the gates at night? How early in the morning can we arrive? Thanks. Bill and Greg

Thanks to Courtland and Darlene for a wonderful time! While I was only able to attend over the weekend, it was nice to have the chance to "egg it" with fellow enthusiasts again.
