Speaking of moving group trips, how about one around the Olympic peninsula? Stop at those great campgrounds mentioned on another thread, the rain forest , Seal Rock, etc.

GREAT IDEA!!!!! Bandon is a bit to far for me the Olympic Peninsula would be fun.

Lets pick a date and a place and go SCAMPING!!!!!!

There is also a vintage trailer rally in Demming in August that had only about 6 fiberglass trailers so we can make it a few more there too!

Plan on Bobbie.

I'm not much of an organizer, but maybe we can get something together.

Sure, lets pick a place and a date and just go. If people can come great and if not that is ok too. I just can't wait to go scaming with other fiberglassers!

Mary

I am liking the seal rock campground.

I'm not quite ready to just go yet, even on a trial run, but maybe in late June or July.

I've got July 28 and 29 available before catching the Coho to Vancouver Island.

After Bandon I'm traveling up the Oregon coast to Lincoln City Elks Wapitia Park for several days and then on to Ocean City SP WA July 26 & 27 before heading around the OP.

If July 28 & 29 work for you, pick a place and let me know.

That MIGHT work. I have company coming who would enjoy coming, but my mom might have to go back to Minnesota and help her sister who is having surgery, and if so, I have to be a dog-sitter instead of using her for one. (I don't think we could manage seven dogs in the Campster...) I should know in a week or so.

I am still waiting for license plates. I don't think an Olympic peninsula trip is going to work for me this year- company is coming the latter part of July and early August. I might be up for a trip to one of the Whidbey parks (or maybe two of them.) That's more of a pain for you guys with normal-height trailers, though, you get gouged on the ferry.

would Deming WA. be too far off the path for youse'll? Reason why I ask is there is an annual Vintage trailer meet ( the Trailer Goddess informs me that she thinks this is held in August, USUALLY a better time, weather wise) there in the Log Show Fair Grounds but I don't have a date on hand. Failing that "we" might just be able to attand something else up here in the sPacific North Wet, LOL!!!

Let us know when the Vintage trailer gathering is. If it's the weekend of August 11 & 12, I could do Deming. I come off San Juan Island on the 11th.

I love the Indian Casino there as they were kind enough to let me stay over night in their parking lot on my way to Alaska last year. And, they were also nice enough to give me an extra $300 for my trip.

I looked; Deming appears to be the 18th and 19th; I'll be back in California then.
