And, Yes Jay....Lily has become a great camper. She's just over a year old and is sort of settling down When camping she's after me to take her for a walk around the campground almost as insistently as with playing ball. Not that walking is bad for me

Trip Report: Good news!!!

Unexpectedly, Bill made a business trip to Bandon this week. The State Parks people and the people of Bandon still want us to come even though we have 105 RVs and over 200 people, plus dogs and cats.


On his return trip Bill had a brief chat with 2 ladies from So. California traveling with their Casita 17. They will be on the East Coast in July, but are planning for the Gathering in '07.

Sorry it has taken me so long to re-post what sites we have reserved. Since I make the reversations for Bob and Judy Webb as well as ourselves I have two sites reserved. B-63 and B-51. Not sure who will take what site. Usually it depends on if we get to the camp first or if Bob and Judy get there first. No matter where we go, it seems like Bob and Judy find a way to beat us there. By the way we plan to arrive Thursday July 13th and leave Tuesday July 18th and same for Bob and Judy.

Can't wait to see everyone. I think we are more excited this year than we were last year (our first year).

Joy- We will miss you and Lilly.

Bob and Judy are planning a little trip to Bandon sometime within this next week. They are talking about leaving Monday, April 17th and heading to Bullards. They will leave Bullards and head towards Grants Pass to the Valley of the Rogue Campground right off I-5 on the 20th or 21st. We hope to meet up with them at the Valley of the Rogue on the 21st or 22nd. We want to attend the Grant Pass street fair on Sunday. Bob and Judy will be traveling with their Lil' Bigfoot and we will have our Burro. So if anyone sees us, come say hello. If anyone wants to know anything about Bullards, let me know before Monday and I will have Bob check it out while he is there.

In the last few weeks, I've had three groups of people who reserved a campsite with the state park but have not register for the Gathering. So, I'm worried there are more people out there who are coming to the Gathering but I don't have them on my list.

Remember, I have no way of knowing who reserves campsites through ReserveAmerica. If you aren't registered for the Gathering, you won't have nametags or a bag of goodies at the registration table and your site won't go in the raffle for the MANY drawings on Saturday night.
