Here are the basics of doing a workshop:
  • Usually there are five or six workshops held at the same time on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
  • Workshops will have anywhere from 1-50 people. The average is about 15-20.
  • It's nice when workshop leaders provide some type of one-page handout. (You might want to put your name and email address on the handout so people can contact you later if they have questions.)
  • Workshops should be planned so there are five to ten minutes left at the end for questions.
See how easy? (We really are a gentle group. )

Nancy,

I will volunteer to give an hour lecture on how to change your photos from just another snapshot to a nice photograph capable of being framed and hung on your wall. The tips are easy, simple and most can be done just before the shutter is snapped. For those shutter bugs who would like to expand their horizon (no pun intended) I will tell how a nice panoramic photograph can be taken using a standard digital camera. I will also have several photographs taken last July during our gathering for those who care to see them.

Nancy, I will donate as I did last year another one of my prints mounted and framed to be given as you see fit either as a raffel or door prize. The print is in color which is a departure from my preference of black and white. The print is 8x11 in. , window mounted on a 14x17 in. mat.

See you soon,
Maxie

I hear ya! I am usually running around taking photos of the workshops and cannot attend any one workshop. This year, I cannot even send Michael to a workshop because he's leading one.

Robert said that if Barbara (who did massage last year) did not mind, or was not available, then he'd do this one.

Nancy,

Teri and I would love to take a class on sewing Box cushions for our '72 boler. Burnt Orange may be making a come back, but we'd like a change.
Maybe next year we could all bring along our sewing machines!
Thanks, Randy.
