My niece (16) and I will be leaving next week on a three week trip. :steer We will be attending both the National
Rally in Renfro Valley, Kentucky, and the ScampCamp in Hollister, Missouri.
The current plan calls for us to travel from Central Florida to Renfro Valley, Kentucky mostly via US Hwy 27. We've planned overnight stops in Warm Springs GA, Chattanooga TN, Cumberland Falls State Park KY, and Pine Mtn State Park KY.
When we leave Renfro Valley, we'll be heading for Branson, Missouri, by way of Mammoth Caves. From Branson, we'll head for Hot Springs, Arkansas, then home to Central Florida.
We prefer to stay off interstates. We've pretty much planned our stops through Hollister. However, we are still looking for interesting things to see and do on the way home. The only plan on that leg of the trip is to spend a day in Hot Springs AR.
Suggestions anyone? Roads to avoid, things we must see, etc.:chin
