<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">I talked with Claude at Tonkawa on Saturday. He stated they have had 63 reservations for PineKnot. As you can see, we have only 61 registered. So you two who have not contacted us, please do so if you want a printed name tag and have your name in the Official Roster.

Claude also said that with this many rigs coming, there definitely will have to be some doubling up. He volunteered to offer a reduced rate to those who do share a spot, and also offered special monetary considerations for those who will park in the tent area. (The tent area has water and 20 amp electrical but no sewer). He said they will make room for all who come.

We have a great rally lined up, if I do say so myself.

Paul,

We will volunteer to park over in the tent area as we do not have a bathroom.
(when will you declare that the rally might be getting out of control ?)

Paul- You can place my husband and me in the tent area. Also my parents, Toby and Sharon Matherly, who are also registered, stated they would camp next to us in the tent area also. We have no need for sewer, just water and electricity. That should free up 2 spaces in the trailer area.

<span style="color:#FF0000"><span style="font-family:Microsoft Sans Serif">An EXECUTIVE DECISION Has Been Made... </span>

<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">OK Folks... I'll admit it. The response has been outstanding--far greater than anyone anticipated. Therefore it is necessary to cut off any more registrations and reservations for PineKnot-III at (65) sixty-five. I instructed Alice at Tonkawa to count how many she has on her books, and to stop accepting reservations when that magic number is reached.

Although there will be sufficient space for our trailers by some of us doubling up or using the tent area, the other facilities--rec building, pavilion, restrooms, etc. will be stretched to the limit if we add too many more.

We hate to do this, but in all fairness to those who have already registered, it is a step we have to take.

We'll be working on plans for next year so no one will be turned away then. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Paul, we have a 13' and no bathroom, so if needed, we can go with the other faux-tenters. We don't mind. just need electricity and water.
We should fit right in with the other little guys!

Hello, PineKnotters!

Everything seems to be falling into place. With the help of a friend, I have the name badges almost ready to print. The program is about ready to run off also. None of the entertainment or programs have cancelled, so all of that is A-OK.

Don't forget the first activity will be the Hot Dog Supper on Thursday evening. We are asking each person to bring wieners, buns, and/or chips--enough to share. Condements will be furnished. Someone might bring some marshmallows or Smores kits. We will fire up the campgrounds large "bar-b-quer" and we will also build a campfire or two. Those who have small grills may want to set those up also. And if you have some extra wiener roasting forks, you might bring those along. As with most cookouts at rallys, you will need to bring your own table service and drinks.

After we eat, Paul B will entertain us with his Mountain Dulcimer.

Robert E will be arriving on Sunday, September the 30th and will be able to help you early arrivers with any problems you might have. I plan to pull my trailer up either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Some have asked about the weather... If current trends continue, highs should be in the low 80's and the nights in the low 60's. And of course, it will not dare rain!

We are looking forward to a wonderful time together.

Paul

I purchased a used 16' Casita Liberty today that is in very good condition but it needs a little TLC. I plan to visit the Pineknot rally as a spectator to get ideas on customizing the trailer. What day do you think will be best for me, Friday or saturday??

Thanks,

Rip...

Welcome to FGRV Land, and welcome to PineKnot...

Either day would be good. We have an hour set aside for a Tour of Eggs on Saturday, but I am sure that everyone present would let you look at their trailers whenever you want and answer all your questions.

Thank you Paul for the phone call! We really do appreciate all the help in our last minute efforts to attend the Pineknott Rally. Paul guided me through the registration and we are set. So, can't wait to meet everyone at Pineknott. It will be nice to see our friends that we made at the RVER and make some new ones too~!

If all goes well... I will acutally be bringing my new 2008 Oliver Legacy Elite 17' Many of those at the RVER saw my older 2007 Oliver Legacy 17'

Thank again Paul~!

<span style="font-family:Microsoft Sans Serif">A good number of folks have already arrived and are enjoying themselves a bunch. Looks as if the weather will cooperate, except the temperatures are going to be about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. The days will be hot, but the nights will be in the mid to high sixties.

Y'all drive carefully.

See you soon!
