Tks Duncan - anyone have a handle on how many units to expect? Will most arrive on Thursday or Friday ?

Bringing some wine and wood. This sounds like a lot of fun. Looking forward to it.

ray & terrie
Two years ago we had about 24 eggs and last year about 34 or so. From the looks of it I would guess around 50 unless some fall out between now and next weekend. Most get in by Friday night but keep coming in on Saturday as well.

Joe,
We'll be in on Friday night so we'll look for you on Saturday. I'll have a pink bowtie and be in the white Scamp.

For anyone coming in in the dark, We will have the camp site marked with some
geen LED Site-lites above our camper and camp site, you should be able to see them from Dome Rock road.

Sue, Glad to hear that you are going to be back in Quartzsite next week. It should be a lot of fun especially with the "wine tasting"! Doug

there are small water tenders that can be called, but it is hardly worth the price.

Its 25 bucks to fill a small tank on an egg. Thats the lowest they can go due to the transportation costs.

The pumpers cost even more.. its easier and cheaper just to go into the RV Pit Stop in town and do it all at once.

Quit rubbin your rig. ( I hope that sounded right ) You are going to make us look bad. I haven't waxed our Casita since last summer. Thanks for the Avitar compliment, I just figured out how to post a picture there. The picture was from a trip to Yosemite that we took last year. Very cool place. Looking forward to seeing everyone next week. Doug and Michelle

I've counted 41 trailers so far from this site, Yahoo Scampers and the Casita site.

Hi Everyone,
I saw all the posting about Quartzsite and the wine tasting and thought I better introduce myself to those who wont know their "Wine-ista". I met Doug at the last Lake Casitas rally when we had the wine tasting there. He asked if I would be interested in doing it at Quartzsite so I of course said yes as I dont have to be asked twice to do wine tasting and or camping. Had heard alot about Quartzsite from Liz and had wanted to go. The wine tasting is a fun way to meet others and sample some wines you may not have had before. I am really looking forward to seeing ya all. As it has already been posted my husband Steve and I haul a red, white & silver Cardinal. We will be arriving on Thursday about noon and leaving on Tuesday. We will have a table set up for registration and I think that we will get started on Saturday [at]2:00 p.m. and should be done about 4:00. Dont forget your pen/pencil,wine glass, chair, instructions and also something to write on such as a magazine.
Can't wait to meet to all.
Rosemary
Can't wait to be there..
Thanks for your help with the wine tasting.

All packed, going to hitch and move the rig into the street so we can leave at/before the crack of dawn. Looking forward to the rally!

Closest one to you is in Indio. I'll see what time we come through there.

I think it's going to be too early for them to be open when we go through there.

If it's not, I'll get you some.

If not maybe some other good soul will take pity on you.

Robert and I expect to shift colors and get underway at approximately 0830 hours local; or 1 bell of the morning watch.
(That's 8:30 AM PST for you civilians)

We would be passing through Indio closer to the lunch hour. Shall I take your order?

Leslie and Dave took pity and brought me a couple from Lake Havasu City!

I had two in Moreno Valley on Sunday, so I am In-N-Outed out....

But thanks!
