Get together in Quartzsite January 2010

We won't be able to join the rally in February to Quartzsite but there are a few of us going in January. It's not a rally, just a get together where we all come and go at different times into town. We will probably go out to dinner one night together.

There will be about 5 of us camping by Dome Rock from Jan 14 .. leaving Sunday 17th. So far, we have 4 Casitas and a Bigfoot. If anyone wants to join us, you are welcome.

Wow.. Great that all of you are considering Quartzsite in January.

Lou and Lora .. Stages are good.. it will be a place to relax anyway.. before we head to Pahrump.

Gina.. come by to say Hi.. but I'm not sure Cockapoo (Buddy) will be there. I believe they will be in Quartzsite at the February gathering.

Fred... Solo is good .. maybe Robert will be able to make it too

Let's hope the weather is good - not too much wind.

Since we have friends in Palm Springs, I usually stop there for lunch. Their home in Palm Springs is [b]exactly 1/2 way between my home in San Diego and Quartzsite. My route is:

from University Ave in Mid-City, get on I-15 north
take I-15 north past Temecula
Get on I-215 north to Hwy 60 east
take Hwy 60 east to I-10 east at Beaumont
Take I-10 to Palm Springs, and then to Quartzsite

Thanks Frederick! I was wondering if there was a way to bypass some of the steep grades near Jacumba. Looks like the only mountain pass that you encounter is at Norton Younglove Reserve.

Ok Carol, Oreo said we can head up on Fri. and stay until Mon. She is hoping for a warmer and drier ride then last time in Quartzsite but she will take what she can get. See you all then.
