Rally in Kansas and Missouri?

Anyone know of any rallys in Ks. or Mo. or does anyone want to try to help me plan one?

We would come to one in SE Missouri, if we can get away from work! (It will have to stop snowing first!!)

Agree with the snowing part. Hope more people respond-but if not may just be us!

I would certainly be interested.

Otherwise, it looks like we might be making the drive to the one near LaCrosse, WI.

There was a little gathering in Council Grove, KS last year if I am remembering correctly.

Would have been nice to see this stay in General Chat. I can see if a rally had already been planned for it to be in the Rallies section, but at this point, Richard is just seeing if there is any interest. I know that I would not have seen his post in the Rallies section as I hardly look there since I know that there are very few rallies in the Heartland so it's a bit of a waste of time to look there every day.

General Chat has a focus of "Similar to "Cheers" format, don't take anything too seriously. Come hang out, meet your friends" and has the largest amount of topics/posts. It doesn't take long and topics drop to the next page and most don't bother to go beyond the first page. I did leave a link to the topic from General Chat to the Rallies section. If you just click on it in General Chat... it takes you automatically to where the topic resides.

We'd be interested---we're in Omaha, NE (Orginally from Lawrence, KS.) Since this will be our FIRST summer in the Perris Pacer, it would be nice to go somewhere close, and learn from other fiberglass owners!

My folks might be interested in a rally in the Mo area. They haven't taken out their new to them trailer yet.

I can't help ... sorry, Oregon is a bit far to drive even on a long weekend. But as the Queen of Not Organizing Gathering(s), I can tell you... all you need to do is pick a place and a date. "They Will Come." It may start out small, but as long as you always pick the same date so people can plan ahead, the gathering will grow. AND, don't over schedule people. Folks like to sleep in and have plenty of "lawn-chair" time. If you choose a place, where people can leave the campground and find interesting things to do on their own time, it WILL be successful. As soon as someone says "I think we should...." they get assigned a duty

Truly!

Richard, Donna's right! Just say, where and when and those of us who can make it will, and those who can't won't! I have wanted to plan one for so long here in Colorado and each time it gets brought up, so many campground suggestion, dates etc get suggested that it never gets planned so still no Colorado Rally.

Just pick a campground and a date and anounce it!

If you can find a campground that has hookups (for us they are a must) but for others there not, so a campground that has options usually work. As Donna said you don't have to plan a lot of activities, if the surrounding area has stuff to see or do great! Other than that a pot luck is about all you gotta plan, and leave the rest up to those who attend. It will be fun!
