Ring in the New Year

Well I finally have all the plans made after much ado!! What better way to ring in the New Year but to host a party and campout right here in Mesquite, Nevada!

It will be December 28,29,30 and 31st at the Desert Skies Resort, Littlefield, Arizona which is right on the border of Mesquite and a few blocks from our home.

The resort has full hookups, heated pool and spa, recreation hall with ping pong, pool tables, darts, card room, big screen TV, stage, kitchen, music, etc. All these facilities are available to us.

Golf courses abound in Mesquite for those golfing enthusiasts. We have four casinos and are close to Zion National Park, Las Vegas, Valley of Fire, Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. We will be planning trips to some of these sites. New Year's Eve we will host a party at our home. If for some reason we have 100's of people (wishful thinking) we can always have it at the resort.

Accommodations are $30.00 including tax for two people, pets allowed. No deposit is necessary just e mail me that you are coming and I will reserve the space. The campground, since it is so accommodating asks that if you need to cancel please do so at least two weeks in advance.

Anyone that is interested in dry camping, all the casinos have free camping in their parking lots and their adjacent campgrounds are only $10.00 with hookups. Mesquite is a small town, only 3 miles long and we all still can get together for activities.

So come on all , who, like us, never know what to do on New Year's Eve, spend it with us ringing in the New Year.

Very tempting!

Our friends, with whom we usually do ring in the new year, are going to Vegas for Xmas... we could meet up with them, and all of y'all, at the same time! :party

New Year's regrets

Barbara- Things aren't shaping up for us to join your party in Mesquite (too far on too little time).
:cry

It does sound great, though. And, since several people have joined the board since you first posted this, maybe it's a good thing to bring it back to the top of the index. (While there's still plenty of time to plan and make reservations!)

:party :party :party

New Years

Mary sorry you can not make it but anytime you are in the area give us a buzz.

Just got back an hour ago from the Lake Casitas campfest or whatever we want to call it. Had the best time with 20 campers. Just never wanted the weekend to end.

We discussed New Year's Eve and we have 5 Casitas signed up already.
I will keep bringing the post up from time to time. If people are like Charlie and I we seem to decide about New Years at the last minute.

Ring in the New Year

Bringing this to the top to remind people that if you have no idea what to do this New Year's Eve just come on over to Mesquite Nevada.
We just love our town and there are so many things to do and see.
Zion National Park, Snow Canyon, Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, and of course Las Vegas. Our town also has lots of places to lose your money if you are so inclined!!!!!

Hi Barb!

Hi Barb! Yesterday, Pam asked me how far it was from Dunlap to Mesquite ... which I took as a step in the right direction

(It's only 1800 miles or so ... 3,600 mile round trip ... couple of days, easy!)

Mesquite

Now Charles, you are the happy wanderer!!!!! Come on down and you may be shocked. This is a little bit of heaven here. The whole town is only 3 1/2 miles long. Check us out on the map and see all the attractions that we can drive to.
So far we have Lori and Mike Sanders, Maggie & Rudy Wes, Heidi and Charles Collado, Carol and Jim Upton. These are the definites. We have a lot of maybes and that I understand because of the Holidays.
Charlie is definitely a New York City Boy and I am from the Soprano territory in New Jersey and we would never think of going back.
