I was at Lake San Antonio today. We saw a pair of Bald Eagles overhead. Lake San Antonio is one of the winter nesting areas for the Bald Eagle (long kept secret).

Now during February the Lake provides Eagle tours.

We saw several Bucks with only a half a set of antlers. Looks kinda funny.

Hi Gina,
You were the first to sign up and so I placed you in the site that is kinda off by itself (so you could bring your dogs) and has the million dollar view. All the sites have electricity & water.
Our two dogs will be with us too. If you want to locate us in a pet-friendly area, that's fine. Pets are more important than views!

Thanks for the offer George. Our little Cocka-Poo, Buddy, will be there.

Many, many people have dogs. Not a problem. Gina has a couple of rescue dogs with special needs.

Thanks Mike.

A bit off topic, but maybe important info for other rally goers... with dogs, please help me out here.

I rescue dogs with severe behavioral problems that would otherwise make them be put down. One of my dogs, with people (Children too) is loving, cute, funny and reasonably well trained, but is dog aggressive. He goes ape flippy when he encounters other dogs, and sometimes takes his in ability to interact out on my female. He is ALWAYS contained and not allowed to interact with other dogs unless he knows them well. He settles once he gets used to thier being around, but that can take several hours of sight exposure. Most of the time, you will see him in a kennel when out, and if tethered, I am always within jumping range.

My female has severe seperation anxiety and she makes lots of noise if she can't see mama in an unfamiliar situation. When out, she will normally be with me at all times, on lead.

This is why they normally do not go to rallies. It's just a bit ovewhelming for me to keep them under control and be social too. It's not real fun for my male to be in jail most of the time either...

I sure appreciate Mike thinking of this need and placing me in a spot where they can be accomidated. I do not have the option of leaving them in my home, they have to go to a kennel.

I have no right to ask, but...If you have pups, I ask that you avoid bringing them near the red and white trailer. The spot I am in should make that easy for folks, and I will be in a place where I can interact with them AND people with little fuss.

Oddly, at home in thier own environment.. these problems just don't exist. They also LOVE to be snuggled in the trailer with Mom.

Anyway, back to your normally scheduled rally info.

oops Mike, so much going on that I forgot I hadn't officially posted to attend. You know we wouldn't miss this one for any reason, well almost any reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Warm up seems to be coming along well, not quite as well as San Antonio, but probably will have more sign on before February. Ansious to see you guys! and of course, all the rest of you FiberglassRV’rs too!

How much do we owe Mike? Kind of quickly read through, where do we send the $$'s?

Maggi

The camp site costs $25 per night.

The Santa Maria Oak Pit Bar-B-Que will include:
Tri-tip & Chicken,
Pinquinto Beans,
Green Salad
Grilled Garlic Bread.
We are guessing it will cost about $8 each.

So please send $25 per night that you are staying plus $8 per person for dinner to:

Mike Sanders
PO Box 844
Atascadero, CA 93422

or Pay via credit card at my secure website at:
https://www.ispbin.com/fiberglassrv/gift.php
Please mention in the notes which nights and how many dinners.

HI Ken and Chris. Got it.

I have started confirming who has paid on the [b]“Master List” at the beginning of this thread. I hope this helps.
