While I'm not a Scamp owner, but WAS in the park when these folks showed up last year....
I thought I'd pass along a tip on a really fun fiberglass trailer get-together in Florida in January.

These folks are a hoot and the park is a really unique experience for those who haven't seen the REAL Florida.
Plus, they even appreciate those of us who own old Trilliums. :)

Just wondering if anyone (other than me! :banana ) is going to be at this ScampCamp?

It's been four weeks since I've camped and this isn't for another four weeks. I'm beginning to have withdrawal.:xx

You have no excuses as you live right near Ocala NF, with pay sites or dispersed free camping, and the springs are swimmable this time of year, being around 70F water temps! Just stay out of the ATV zones if you like quiet...

Kwitcher Griping and Go Kamping! Heck, you are close enuf to live in the Egg for a while and commute to work (whatever work and commute mean, terms I dimly recall from previous lives).

I'm crying! We really would like to be there --- but "the really big butt question". We are leaving approx. Jan 20th (depending on the weather in western NY -- South of Buffalo), heading for Louisville, KY to see our daughter -- then heading south to Fl. We will be in for the long haul -- in Fl. from Jan. 27 - Mar. 20. Then we head for a Southwest trip through Tx, Az, NM and any where in between. Our niece graduates in May from Law School in Iowa -- we hope to be there as Iowa is on the way home from any where in the West.

Next year, we hope to be at the Florida rally. We will be at Highlands 2/17 - 2/23. We have reservations at 12 different State Parks in Fl. before we head West. Tom & Sue
