Only 28 more days until our Northern California - Burney Falls Gathering! See our list of attendance in Post #1 over on Casita Forum - Upcoming Rallies - other rallies - Northern California - Burney Falls.

Last year the park was overhauling the trail down to the falls. This year the park website says the trail is finished and ready to use.

Have you signed up yet? Of course, reservations are not needed - so come on up!

woohooThere's only 13 more days until the Gathering. Come on up (or down) for a good time with us. We will be located in the Rim Loop of the campground. No reservations are necesssary. An updated attendance list is over on Casita Forum. Here is a schedule of happenings:
Friday, September 16
-Registration - See Earl, Alan, or Michele 10:00-6:00
-Organized “Down time” 2:00-5:00
-Would you like to play games, take a hike, learn a new skill
or just chew the fat?
-If so, bring a game or two, wear your hiking boots, or be
prepared to teach us what you know during this informal
afternoon get-together.
-S’Mores/Campfire/TRIVIA 6:00

-BRING SOME FIREWOOD to share, please.
-Bring S’Mores ingredients (graham crackers, marshmellows,
or chocolate bars) to share.
-Please bring chairs for everyone in your party.
-Please bring lanterns or flashlights.
-Please bring your own marshmellow roasting sticks, napkins,
and beverages.
-Please bring a wrapped “white elephant” -re-gifted items WELCOME!
If you HAVE to spend $$, please do not spend more that $3 on a gift.

Saturday, September 17
-Ladder Ball (golf) 10:00am
-The Dreaded **GROUP PICTURE** 12:00pm
-Trailer Tour 1:30-3:30pm
-Potluck/Campfire/Awards/Door Prizes/and other stuff 5:00pm
For the potluck, please bring chairs, tables, table service for everyone
in your party, beverages, and of course, an appetizer, main dish, salad,
or dessert to share.

Sunday, September 18
-Brunch Potluck (Same as Saturday night potluck, except breakfast foods) 9:00

Hello All-

I have not been on the forum in long, long time but we are still alive and kicking. Just wanted to post that Bob & Judy Webb are planning on attending the Burney Falls gathering. Sadly Berry & Ellen Buzzard will not be able to attend this year but maybe next year. We wish everyone safe travels and tons of fun for this gathering.

I have no egg yet, but might be able to make it up for at least part of the weekend to meet some folks and see some eggs. Tent campers welcome to play too?

How many trailers are expected at this point? It's a long drive, but if it's going to have a wide variety of 13's to look at it would be worth the drive I think. I've only seen two of these beasts up close.

Is anyone going who's selling a 13'er??!!

Before we picked up our trailer we went to a Florida Fiberglass rally for two days. People were wonderful. I left with a list of things I wanted to do to our rig. At the rally we went to there were a couple of rigs for sale, but more important ws all the info I gathered plus wonderful people.

Of course, tenters are welcome to join in the fun. In fact, there are lots of tenters at Burney Falls right now! However, there are still lots of sites available. You won't be disappointed. It looks to me like we have 14 trailers signed up right now - and a great variety. An updated list is over on Casitaforum.com.

I'm not sure if any are for sale.

Hi Gang!

The time is almost here. I am now at McArthur-Burney Falls State Park. The weather will be perfect for our weekend together. The sun is shining in bright blue skies and it is warm during the day. (Although I understand it rained for about 2 hours Monday night.)

There are lots of campers here (both RV’s AND tent campers) but there are still lots of open sites, so finding a spot is no problem. It’s still first come, first served, with reservation NOT being taken. I am in Rim Loop #22. See you when you get here.

It breaks my heart but Lily and I won't be able to make this weekend. I was so looking forward to it. But you know life gets in the way sometimes.

Sorry to Alan for not replying to his PM in a timely manner. Hadn't seen it till today. We will not make it as work has interfered with leaving early enough today, so we will try for next year.
